You may have already fished with Caleb's Guide Service around Astoria and had a great trip. This time, you don't have to wait until August to go fishing with Capt. Caleb. Join him in Depoe Bay in June and July and enjoy a full day adventure at the ocean.
Hop aboard a 20' Alumaweld aluminum boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. Stable and comfortable, she's powered by twin 115 HP Mercury engines and features all kinds of navigational electronics that will help you locate the fish in no time.
This trip combines two different techniques, depending on what you want to catch. If you're after Coho or Chinook Salmon, the best way to go is trolling. On the other hand, you can target Lingcod and Black Seabass using bottom fishing. Either way, you'll end the trip with tasty, fresh fish meat. If you're saving your catch for later, make sure to bring a cooler.
Bear in mind that the ocean can be unpredictable, so avoid booking today for tomorrow.
Capt. Caleb will cover your rods, reels, and tackle. You need to purchase your fishing license and bring some food and drinks. Check the weather forecast before your trip, so you know what clothes to wear.
Caleb's Guide Service provides fun and exciting trips around Oregon. Don't forget that you can also join Capt. Caleb in Astoria from August till the end of September (check out his second listing).

Ocean conditions were very poor when we booked our trip, so we ended up fishing the Nestucca River instead. Caleb is very knowledgeable, and by far the friendliest guide I have met. He worked hard to keep our hooks in the water and was great with my 13 year old on his first river, and salmon, fishing trip. We will be coming back to OR for another trip with Caleb soon!

William I am glad you guys enjoyed your trip. It was a lot of fun fishing with you guys. Safe travels back home and I hope to see you guys again!
The Angler's Choice Award is given to listings that consistently deliver a high-quality service and earn great reviews from customers.
I started fishing When I was a young kid. The first thing I learned to do was fly fish then as I grew older I learned more and more techniques. Now I use my knowledge to teach others how to have a great time on the water. I love to help people catch there first Salmon or steelhead. Nothing is more rewarding than that. The opportunity of catching the fish of a lifetime every time a new fish is on the line has me coming back for more and always will.
