Captain Michael Woodward has been fishing his whole life, and he spent the last 15 years exploring the abundance of the Tillamook Bay area. Today, he shares his experience and knowledge with his customers.

You’ll be fishing out of a 21’ Willie Boat aluminum fisher with twin 115 HP Yamaha engines. There’s room on board for up to 4 anglers to relax and fight their catch. The vessel sports reliable navigational electronics to show you where the fish hide and a live bait well.

Capt. Michael will provide quality fishing equipment for you, including Okuma, Shimano, Lemiglas, and Abu Garcia tackle. There’s also an assortment of lures to choose from, and if you prefer live bait, sand shrimp is the most productive option. But what will you be targeting?

You can take your pick between bottom fishing for Lingcod, Halibut, and Rockfish or trolling for Steelhead and Salmon. From April all through December, Chinook and Coho Salmon reign supreme in the local rivers and bays.

Going after them will be both fun and challenging, and Capt. Michael will make sure to take you to the best bite. After the trip, your guide can clean and fillet the catch for your convenience, so you can serve it for dinner as soon as you come home.

Get your fishing license with appropriate tags before you hit the water, and bring plenty of food, drinks, and snacks. Feel free to come with your kids, Capt. Michael will show your little ones some fun fishing tricks, and he’ll also have life jackets for them.
