Highwaters Fishing Charters invites you to enjoy a relaxing yet thrilling saltwater fishing trip in the Florida Keys. Experienced or not, all individuals are welcome. These waters are home to Captain Ryan Smith, as he has grown up on these waters and has plenty of experience.
You'll be fishing aboard an 18' Sterling, powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine. This flats boat is perfect for navigating and gliding in shallow water. Three guests will fit comfortably and everything you will need for a successful day out on the water will await you.
Captain Ryan specializes in fishing trips that include sight fishing for Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Snapper, Trout, Tripletail, and Black Drum in the Florida Keys and Flamingo. You'll mainly go after them using light tackle and spinning. These techniques are easy to learn and you'll get a feel for it fast. By the end of the trip, you'll be able to land a fish on your own!
The price of the trip includes the use of live bait, lures, artificials, quality rods and reels, etc. Drinks and snacks are welcome aboard and it's highly recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat and some sunscreen.
This trip is as flexible as to how you want to spend your day. And at the end of your day, your catch will be cleaned, filleted and ready to be cooked.

Capt Ryan was awesome. We did an afternoon fishing trip with him and he took us to some great spots. We started out with getting a bunch of speckled trout and then working our way around looking for snook. My son caught a really nice snook and snapper, along with some specs. Ryan is great and really made the trip phenomenal. I highly recommend him.
Captain Ryan put me on the fish. I was hoping to catch one snook which was on my bucket list. After losing numerous snook , due to my abilities, I not only landed a few but they were big uns . And as a bonus he got me a couple of tarpon , one which was too big to bring into the boat. I highly recommend Captain Ryan

90% of fish will hang in only 10% of the water. Captain Ryan knows where that 10% is and will put you on fish. He's been fishing in this region since childhood and has learned from the best. The best thing is that he's willing to share that knowledge. What I learned will save me countless hours of trial and error. Thanks for a great day Cap!

My son and I had an excellent trip with Captain Ryan. We spent 5 hours fishing the flats around Key Largo. The time flew by because we were constantly catching fish!! Snook, snapper, Jack! Captain Ryan finds fish for you and all you have to do is cast in the direction he is pointing! At the end of the trip, he cleaned and bagged the fish for us. My son and I had great time thanks to the skills and experience of Captain Ryan. I definitely recommend this charter. Five stars!!
We can't control the weather, but can deal with it positively....Capt Ryan worked to deal with and still put us on the fish. He understands the area and how to flow with the patterns to make the trip work.
