Hop aboard Unreel Lake Erie Fishing Charters and take part in some of the finest freshwater fishing Ohio has to offer! With Captain David Gormley at the helm, both beginners and pros are bound to have a great time on the water.
Your vessel for the day is a 27' Robalo center console, powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha outboards. She can comfortably accommodate up to 6 of your friends and family members. Equipped with high-end navigational and marine electronics, you'll be on the fish in no time.
What's more, there's a live well to keep your bait enticing, as well as an ice box to keep any keeper catch fresh. Thanks to the on board toilet, you won't have to worry about comfort either.
On Capt. David's trips, you'll primarily focus on fishing for Walleye. You'll head into Lake Erie's offshore waters and troll for your limits with top-of-the-line fishing gear provided by your captain.
He'll also bring along bait and ice to complete the experience. Fish cleaning is also available for an additional fee, feel free to discuss it with the captain. All you need to worry about is bringing a valid Ohio fishing license and any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy.

The captain and his first mate were absolutely awesome. Very personable and was so flexible with the weather forecasts and actual availability for us. They don’t just set things and then let you reel in, if you ask questions, they will answer them so you can learn as you go. Filleted our fish for a bit extra which was super helpful as we were up for the weekend and this was our first exursion. Large enough boat that I wasn’t nervous being up and moving around (not a fan of water). Will def come back again!

What an amazing half day we had out on Lake Erie! Dave knew exactly where to take us and had an awesome setup for catching walleye. Awesome half day trip with Captain Dave!

Decided last minute to book a half day walleye charter with Captain Dave for my two teenage boys and one of their friends. We all had an amazing time! Dave took his time to explain everything to the boys and all of them caught some decent size walleye! The kids had a blast and it’s all they’ve been talking about. Can’t wait to book another trip! We will definitely be booking again with Unreel! Thanks again for a wonderful day out on the lake!
