Fishing just got way more exciting! Magic Bowfishing offers fishing trips out of Ocean City, that are everything but ordinary. Explore local rivers and bays with Captain Greg, as he takes you on a bow fishing adventure. This technique requires different equipment, which makes the whole experience like hunting on the water.
The adventure starts on a 24' Long Beach custom boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This center console is powered by a 115 HP Suzuki engine , 25 HP Suzuki kicker with Cobia Tower Steering/Spotting & a 25 HP Gatortail Mud Motor all on jackplates for shallow water. To make your targets visible during night trips, the boat also has 200 W lights with 2 generators. The equipment is always there, which consists of 10 bowfishing setups, arrows, AMS reels, harpoons, gaffs, and anything else that's needed. We also have added a new custom build 21' Uncle J Bowfishing boat strictly for extreme shallow water in the river powered by a Gatortail Mud motor ,Susuki 30 hp ,trolling motor and 5 Star Led lights.
The equipment is adjusted to your targets, so bowfishing gear isn't the only one you'll find here. There are also Flounder gigs and Clam rakes. You can go after Carp, Bluefish, Garfish, Shad, Ray, and Black Drum. You can keep the catch, so it's best to bring a cooler and save the fish for tomorrow, when you get to taste the fruits of your success.
All equipment and fishing licenses are included in the price. The captain also has some bottled water and various sodas on the boat but feel free to bring your snacks and drinks. Make sure to wear proper clothing, especially on a night trip.

As first time bow hunting Anthony patiently explained the whole process which was fairly simple and off we went. We caught several southern rays and a cow nose. My son even got a houndfish. The boat was top notch and very clean and preformed well. Meeting the two of them was like seeing an old friend, conversation was very easy with them and we learned all kinds of things about fishing and the area. Capt. Greg was very good with communication as we were up for the week and the weather was awful so we left it up to him to figure out the best & safest day. Even with the weather and conditions Capt. Greg still got us on the target! It is definitely a very exciting sport and I can’t wait to go again with them next year when we visit again. Thank you both for a wonderful time. Book it guys you won’t regret it!

5 Hour River Trip on July 20, 2021 • 4 adults • 1 childGreg and his deck hand were great. Conditions were tricky at first but after the lights popped on the action hit and what a different experience! Lots of action. Lots of interesting creatures visible too: turtles, spot, needle fish, crabs, etc.. Equipment worked great. Boat was excellent. Great customer service. The capt. Worked hard to get us all onto some fish and he did. Would recommend for something different if you enjoy fishing/hunting. Thanks Capt. Greg & Ben we had a great evening

Bowfishing in the Bay on August 12, 2020 • 2 adultsMy brother and I booked a bowfishing charter through Magic Bowfishing and scored this massive 204.3lb Butterfly Ray with a 7 foot wingspan! (Read to the bottom to find out more!). Captain Greg Steen and first mate Tyler Smith from #magicbowfishing in Ocean City, MD got us on some awesome fish on a tough night due to water clarity issues. Despite the issues, we also ended up with with a boat record Flounder at 20" We hit a couple of needlefish at the exact same time and a decent Houndfish. (Those were hard to hit! Such small targets!) Finally we also got on an unpictured cownose ray. Everything we could eat we kept and cleaned so it doesn't go to waste. This includes both rays and the flounder. Finally, the butterfly ray is being submitted for a potential world record while bowfishing. The previous record is 202lbs. We set the world record last night pending review and verification! @ Ocean City, Maryland We're thrilled with our trip and couldn't be happier!

5 Hour River Trip on July 9, 2020 • 3 adultsOur family (with 2 teenaged boys, 1 teen girl) had an absolute blast!! Both Greg and Tyler were so patient and passionate about bow fishing!! Our kids have had alot of fun vacation expeditions (including parasailing, zip lining in Punta Cana, hiking through Zion Natal Park. Grand Canyon, etc) ..~ but said they loved bowfishing more than any other adventures they have ever had!! We never felt rushed, or anxious!! We felt very safe and confident the entire time we were on the boat!! We would definitely recommend Magic Bowfishing to anyone looking for a new adventure!! My kids are stilling laughing about our experience, and will have this lifetime memory!! The hubby and 18 year old son are already talking about making/buying some bows!! THANKS Greg and Tyler!!!!!

We could not have asked for a better Captain and Mate. 100% will be doing this again and highly recommend for any adrenaline junkies out there.

Had and awesome time on the water with Captain Greg and Mark. They worked hard to put us on rays and were determined to the find the big ones. Would definitely do this trip!
