Cobia, Tautog, Black Seabass, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder, Redfish, Bluefish (Tailor), Blacktip Shark, Weakfish, Speckled Trout, Striped Bass, and more are in the cards, depending on the season.
For these species, you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Brandon also offers kite fishing.
You can take home any fish you catch, so long as it's legal. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Bring a cooler ready in the car!
5 Star Sportfishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Capt. Brandon will bring you aboard a 24' Skiff with space for 10 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Captain Chad did a phenomenal job finding a great spot to fish and kept us catching fish the entire time. We have enough yellowtail to eat for the rest of our trip!!! The kids had a blast as did my wife and I. Back at the marina Chad and Brandon filleted all our 32 fish to perfection. We'll be back next year! Thanks guys!

I've never experienced a day when all anglers had a fish on at the same time! Too bad we couldn’t keep all we caught - so many yellowtail snapper and dolphin that I lost count. Beautiful/comfortable boat, nice new rods/tackle, professional and FUN!

Only comment is that it turned out it was not tarpon season, so advertizing a tarpon and shark trip at that time is of course debatable. We had a nice day and ate the fish caught in a restaurant. Boat and Captain was very good.

3/4 Day – Reef/Bottom/Sailfish on August 5, 2019 • 5 adultsWe have been on many fishing charters and this by far was our worst experience. It was like booking the Ritz-Carlton but getting a Motel 6 experience. We paid for a 6-hour trip and left at under 4 hrs, because it was so intolerable. It bordered on bizarre how this charter was run. The "first-mate" was an inexperienced 15 year old boy who literally grabbed the fishing pole out of my husband's hands twice and reeled it in. The trolling lure was run on top of the wake 10 yards from the boat. When they saw any floating piece of wood he would stop the boat and the first-mate would run out to the bow and cast a ballyhoo and the captain would cast once sometimes and then after 2-3 minutes drive to another spot. One of the motors would trim-up on it's own mid-run and the boat had to be stopped twice to deal with that. The pole and reels were low-end and not in great shape. The whole set-up was sub-par. When my husband told the "captain" we wanted to fish too, not just watch them fish, he said we 'were welcome to pick up a pole' and appeared aggravated. With his attitude, we told him to take us back. We paid for the full trip, but used under 4, and then he again appeared aggravated when we did't give him a tip! If this is the only charter you can find to book, save your money and go fish off a pier instead.
