Eye’M In Sportfishing loves to get people involved in hands-on and the whole operation of setting lines and netting fish, not just holding the rod and reeling it in. Come join Captain Charles Skidmore and create precious memories as you explore Lake Erie. You and the captain will meet in Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio and then head out to the lake and have a great experience as you chase fish. Pick your date and hop aboard, Eye’M In Sportfishing’s waiting for you!
You’ll use a 27’ Sportscraft performance fishing boat that can sit up to 6 guests. It’s got a 300 HP engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 25 knots and it uses comprehensive technology for precise navigation which includes modern GPS, fishfinder, radio, as well as radar systems. The boat’s also got a toilet you can use and you’ll have the help of a first mate during the trip.
You’ll go after Walleye and you’ll catch it using trolling, jigging, as well as drift fishing. All the fish you catch will stay with you to take it home. Walleye is renowned for its taste, so you’ll be able to treat yourself and your loved ones to delicious meals. Kids are welcome to join the trip, so do bring them along as well.
Captain Charles will take care of all the fishing gear, which includes rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Yours is only to bring your favorite snacks, drinks, as well as fishing licenses.

Awesome Family Fishing
Half day on the water with captain Charles was great. We caught walleye, sheepshead, and white bass. Took our 4 and 6 year old out with my mom and had a blast. My husband learned how to set the lines and we all reeled in fish to keep (of course we had to throw back, too). It really was non stop reeling in lines and setting them for a couple hours straight. At one point we had about 5 different rods to bring in. My oldest could have been out there for another 2 hours. Couple that with great scenery of put-in-bay, Kelley’s, and cedar point… it was hard to beat being out on the water. Super patient with young kids and helping them. Highly recommend for adults or families!

Walleye Fun
We met the Captain and Rod at the dock and we set off at 6am and hit Lake Erie. Captain put us right where a few other Captains were fishing and we started hitting Walleye. After a while fishing slowed a little and the Captain heard some radio traffic. He made a few calls and he asked if we could stay a little longer. We packed up and headed to a different location where we started catching some nice Walleye and keeping busy. By the end of the day we had easily caught our limit counting all the ones that got off the hook.at the back of the boat. Fun day on the lake. This was early part of the season too. Hope to come back later when the fishing really kicks in.

Great captain
The conditions were windy, rough, and frustrating, but Charles endured, and we will be eating walleye at a handful of family dinners because of it. He was also exceptional at involving my teenagers in the process.

I highly recommend Captain Charles! He took us right out to the honey hole and the poles hardly got a break. We limited out. He was very patient and helpful to my wife and son and we had an excellent family experience on his boat. His first mate Brandon was very helpful during the trip also. I can't wait to come back again soon.
