You will most likely find yourself trolling for walleye as we can most efficiently cover water and increase our catch rate. You are able to troll with 3 rods per person in Ohio waters of Lake Erie

You are encouraged to call Capt. Jim and discuss what your objectives are. Whether you are looking to just have a fun day of catching fish or wish to learn something in particular, Capt. Jim can help taylor the trip to suite your needs.  (i.e. using electronics, test riding the North River, walleye trolling tips and tricks, etc…)

Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, so the proper sizes can be prepared ahead of time. Snacks are also a good idea to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Your boat for the day is a 23' North River Seahawk. With plenty of space in the Stern, 3 passengers can fish comfortably. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water, including a bimini and enclosed cabin should we need it.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is provided as necessary.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
