Right Side Charters is located in Slidell
Louisiana and offers enjoyable fishing trips for the whole family. Whether you choose inshore fishing on Lake Borgne and the surrounding marsh, or you prefer nearshore and flats fishing, you'll certainly have a good time.
Your trip starts on a 24' Skeeter sx 240 with a 300 yamaha engine and it's got an onboard navigation system. The boat's rigged with a Min Kota i-Pilot wireless trolling motor and an ice-box, and also features a livewell.
You'll be targeting Black Drum, Largemouth Bass, Flounder, Redfish, and Spotted Seatrout. Using light tackle you'll be able to try out a number of fishing techniques, including bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, popping, and drift fishing. The charter is child-friendly, so be free to bring along your kids as well. You'll be able to keep the fish you catch, and if you choose so, the crew will clean and fillet it for you for free.
All the tackle will be ready for you on the boat and is included in the prices. You're covered for rods, reels, terminal tackle, and lures. There will be light snacks, sports drinks, and water on board, so the only thing you should bring are fishing licenses.

Captain James did a fantastic job getting us on the fish early! He knew exactly where to go, and we were catching fish in no time. Captain James Kennedy's been fishing waters of South Louisiana his entire life. He's a native of this area and a Coast Guard licensed captain. As a young boy, he had a dream of fishing professionally. After many years of fishing in tournaments he succeeded in qualifying for the 2006 Bassmaster Classic and spent the next few years fishing nationally as an Elite Series fisherman. This was a milestone achievement he would always remember. Spending so much time on the Louisiana local waters, he's become an expert on them.
