Captain James Was very kind! Kept us on top of the fish! we will be back to fish with Captain James. We caught lots of fish.

Great day on the water mostly targeting speckled trout but caught 50+ fish over the course of the day.

We had a slow start but Capt James was persistent and we caught well over 50 fish for the day.

Captain James got us onto the fish and kept them coming! He and his crew cleaned a load of fish and sent us home with more than cooler full of fillets!

First off captain was very accommodating especially because this was a last minute booking. We had three other trips that cancelled us due to the weather... weather wasn't a problem at all here! No lie we probably caught about 100 trout (not exaggerating). At one point we were catching trout with just a hook (no bait) that's how on fire captain got us. To top it off, the last spot we hit captain said let's try and get something big. Man did he deliver. I caught a jack crevalle that I'm not sure how much it weighed but it was massive. Fought it for what felt like half an hour. Thing took my line all the way out, captain knew just what to do and we chased it around until we got him in the boat! Wasn't sure what to expect because we were kinda bummed to get cancelled on our off shore trip, but I don't think we could have had a better experience than this. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Captain James was one of the most skilled guides of been with in awhile. He called me ahead of our trip to talk over options and plans. He was ready to go and had us on fish right off the bat. This was probably one of the better days fishing I've ever had. We caught over 200 sea trout, plus a few croaker and catfish. We Capt. James had them dialed in. When we got back. He dropped us off at a great local restaurant while he went to clean the catch. He even recommended another restaurant that was willing to cook up some of our catch. Next time I'm in New Orleans I will for sure be booking again!

Capt. James was extremely accommodating for someone who has never fished in the area before. My wife, daughter and me took the 7 hour trip. He told us what time of day the fish would start biting and he knew when to move from spot to spot to keep catching fish. He not only told us where to throw but how to use the rod to our advantage so we got the maximum number of fish. He also made sure we got plenty of pictures to remember our time together. He offered information about the area as to which restaurants to eat at and things to do and places to stay. My daughter caught the most fish and he even got my wife to catch one two weeks after surgery on her wrist. This was a great trip for all of us and before we left for the day we were already planning the next one.

I surprised my husband with a birthday gift of fishing for a day. Captain James did not disappoint. He knew the right spots to take us from beginning to end. Despite the tide. wind issues and motion sickness we had a great time. Captain James taught me how to fish, I did pretty good for the first time, so dod my husband. Enjoyed the experience and look forward to the next one.
