Looking for a fishing adventure?! Dambote Charters is here to help. Captain Murray runs fishing trips year-round out of New Smyrna Beach. Every trip is customizable to your skill level and preferences. Your guide will do anything that’s in his power to make the trip just like you imagined it.
Welcome aboard a 25’ Boston Whaler that accommodates up to 5 guests. This brand-new center console has been built in 2020 and has the latest Ray Marine navigational electronics. She also features a live bait tank, full electronics package, and outriggers. To help you reach your spot in no time, the boat is powered by twin 200 HP Mercury engines.
The trips cover all kinds of fishing grounds in the area and the list of fish you can catch is very versatile. If you’re staying inshore, you can target redfish and tarpon seasonally. Nearshore and offshore trips are a mix of bottom fishing and trolling, where you can target Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper, and different types of Snapper. Check with us for what is biting. We will customize a trip to meet your needs.
Dambote Charters covers your fishing license and equipment. After the trip, he’ll also clean your catch, so it’s recommended to bring a cooler for your catch or go straight to a restaurant. You just need some snacks, drinks, and lots of sunscreen.
We will also do river cruises for rocket launches from the space center for those space buffs that would like to see the launch from the water.

Inshore trip
Go for the the dambote!
Murray knew right where the fish were biting and all 5 of us caught at least 1 fish, but most of us caught 2-6! We couldn't keep em all but we had a great time. Murray was very knowledgeable about all the types of fish we caught and kept an eye on the less experienced anglers, giving advice that almost always worked! Great day. I would go again and recommend you do too!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!
I cant rate this highly enough! Captain Murray from the moment we stepped on board made this feel less like a charter and more like a fishing trip with a lifetime friend. He is easy going, friendly, funny, knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, and just an awesome guy. He was great with setting us up so both the experienced fishermen in our group and the boys (8 and 12) would have an exciting trip. His boat was clean, well maintained, and we felt welcome. If you're looking for a charter, look no further!
