Top notch!
4 hour inshore (am) on July 4, 20252 adults1 child

I've been on a decent amount of charters but Capt Jeff and Hunter went well above any boat I've been on. Complete professionals all around. Communication was on point while booking and their attentiveness throughout the trip was top notch. He and Hunter worked the boat flawlessly if it was a snagged rig, to providing bait, or unhooking fish on the line, someone was there. Everywhere they took us we caught fish. This trip was a Father's day gift for my dad, me and my son and it was great. They definitely know their stuff and would highly recommend them. They had everything needed on the boat and they were fabulous with my son on teaching new fishing methods. Hands down the best charter we've been on.

Highly recommend! Very experienced Captain
3/4 Day Trip on June 4, 20252 adults2 children

I took my three kids and it was perfect! We caught fish and the kids had a blast. Most importantly the captain and his first mate were very accommodating and welcoming to the kids. They took time to explain things, show them the tower, helped them catch fish, etc. The kids learned a lot. I highly recommend for a family. But also the caption and first mate are very experienced…no one appeared to be catching fish and we found the fish. We even caught a 78lb Cobia. Overall great experience.

Amazing
4 hour inshore (am) on August 4, 20252 adults2 children

I took my two 9 yr old boys and 17 yr old nephew with me. Captain Jeff and Hunter completed exactly what I asked for, the boys had a ton of action bottom fishing at first catching the bait we then used to catch bigger. The boys said it was the best day of their life! And was definitely one of my best experiences charter fishing and it was all thanks to them! I highly recommend and will be contacting them again. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

The perfect 25th anniversary
Full Day Trip on July 3, 20242 adults

We selected Captain Jeff for this trip because of his bio (you can't replace 40+ years of experience with a 2x Master Angeler), other's reviews and convenient location. What a find! Jeff and his crew are not only experts at their craft but they are good people who we truly enjoyed spending the day with. The Cobia bite was promising at first, yielding 2 shorts within minutes of reaching Jeff's honey hole in the Chesapeake. Things slowed for a bit but they fished hard. We've never been sight fishing for Cobia and what a thrill it was! Eventually the hard work paid off with a 44" keeper with several hours of promise left in the day. The Cobia were spawning and skittish with several more attempts just being interested in the meals Jeff and Trevor expertly placed right in front of them. After several hours of persistence and patience we were rewarded in the "bottom of the 9th". With only a few minutes left before pointing the bow back to Gloucester Point. It was game on with a 55" keeper! Once back at the dock, Jeff and crew expertly cleaned the fish for us while we recounted the amazing 25th anniversary experience with them and snapped a few more pictures. We'll be back for our 26th!

Kids can’t wait to do it again!
Half Day Trip (AM) on July 23, 20241 adult1 child

I took my two sons (13,8) on their first charter. Captain Jeff found the fish and we reef fished until my son’s arms got tired of reeling fish in. We spent the remaining time trolling for Spanish mackerel where we were consistently reeling them in. Captain Jeff and Trever were a wealth of information not only about the fishing but also the Bay Area. Next time we are in town we will be sure to do the all day trip. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Thanks Again!

Over 45 years spent on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries I've always had a passion for fishing. Growing up I would target each species to catch a citation every season. With this goal I have achieved Master Angler Level 2. Today I like to use my knowledge so others can enjoy the great sport of fishing and all the Chesapeake has to offer!
