Come aboard Easy As Pi’s 2017 Ranger 621FS as you go hunt the tasty Lake Erie Walleye. The boat features a 350 HP Mercury Verado engine to get you where the fish are located in no time. Then use the kicker motor to adjust the presentation to the perfect feeding speed, along with the state-of-the-art GPS guided ulterra trolling motor to guide your course and fine tune the presentation speed. You’ll utilize multiple Lowrance fish finders to identify the depth of the fish. If the sun gets to be too much, your captain can deploy the top to give some shade throughout the day.
Captain Chris will show you how to use proven strategies and the best equipment to locate and entice these toothy predator fish to bite. Your guide is a very hands-on Captain and he enjoys helping people learn how to use and read the equipment, as he will allow you to do as much or as little as you like.
All fishing equipment is included in the price, so you only need to pack your fishing license and some snacks and drinks.

Chris is definitely an experienced Angler. He is organized and his boat is equipped with everything needed for Walleye fishing. The weather and wind factor made me feel a bit unsure of getting in this fishing guide experience. But, Chris made it happen! He found the perfect window of opportunity and it was a successful evening. Three hours of non-stop reeling in of fish. He also makes you feel confidnet even if you have little fishing experience. Largest Walleye caught was 27". I fried up my first Walleye filet, southern style, with a fresh cabbage salad and jalapeño-cheddar cornbread.

The 4 of us had a great time with Captain Chris! He took us out to where the Walleye were and we were just 4 shy of catching our limit. Chris stayed busy the whole time keeping the rods baited, and in the water. He did an excellent job! I would not hesitate to book him again for another trip. Thanks again Captain Chris! It was a pleasure meeting and fishing with you.

Perfect captain with perfect weather, bring us the perfect trip. Captain Chris used several different strategies and they all worked well. We caught a limited amount of fish in a few hours and tried to catch a large one when we got close to the limitation.

Captain Chris has been fishing Lake Erie for several decades going back to the 80’s fishing with his Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and his Dad. He was a first mate for his Great Uncle for several summers. He has fished many walleye tournaments and has placed as high as 1st on Lake Erie. Captain Shipman became a licensed USCG Captain in 2015.
