Captain Rusty will teach you anything you need to know about inshore fishing and help you catch fish with ease. If you think that learning isn’t fun, you probably never tried to learn fishing from an experienced captain.
You’ll be fishing from a 20’ Hewes that accommodates up to 3 guests. This flats boat is perfect for shallow waters you’ll explore, and it easily navigates through spots other boats can’t. Being powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine, this boat ensures a fast and safe ride. Besides top-notch fishing equipment, the boat also features a live bait tank.
The local inshore waters have so much variety when it comes to fish species, that you won’t even feel the need to go to deeper spots. Some of the fish you can target here are Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Black Drum, and more. Of course, some of them are season dependent, so you won’t be able to go after them at all times.
Capt. Rusty specializes in light tackle fishing with spinning and fly fishing, so these will be your main approaches. You get to keep the catch, so better start looking for a great restaurant nearby and have your fish prepared there.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered and the captain also prepares snacks and drinks. Just bring your camera and sun protection.

My expectation was to catch enough fish to enjoy at a local restaurant as part of my husband’s birthday celebration - Captain Rusty made it happen! We enjoyed sharing tales with Cap Rusty almost as much as we did the fishing. . .no kidding!! It was an amazing time! My first time ever on a charter and fishing in saltwater and it couldn’t of been better! Captain Rusty made sure I knew it wasn’t the most opportune time to hit the water due to weather but it was up to me if I’d still like to go. I’m glad we did he still managed to put us on the fish!!! It was great time and Captain Rusty is just an awesome guy! I would 10 out of 10 recommend taking a trip with him!! Thanks again Rusty can’t wait to do it again!!

Can't say enough about my experience with Captain Rusty. My wife and I had an absolute blast. Not only did we catch all kinds of fish...trout, jack, flounder and reds to name a few, Rusty was a great guy we really enjoyed hanging out with. We shared a lot of stories and a ton of laughs. This man loves fishing and knows how to put you on them. This was my 1st time flat fishing and I couldn't have had a better day. I can't wait to book my next trip. Thanks again Rusty!!

It was a great experience, Captain Rusty made it seem like you've been friends forever! He is such a smart and helpful guide! He was so excited when you had fish on and made you feel as if you were part of his family! He gave great tips and tricks to get the job done! The experience was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before! He put us on red fish and trout like it was nothing! Overall it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be back!
