Captain Eric Olliverson's goal is to provide the ultimate fishing experience. Whether it's fishing for Bass, Crappie, and Walleye on Table Rock and Bull Shoals Lake, or going after Rainbow and Brown trout on Lake Taneycomo, Eric's Elite Guide Service will make sure you have a memorable experience!
Your trip will start on a 22' Phoenix bass boat. It runs on a 250 HP Mercury engine with a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots. It can sit up to 4 guests, and it's got modern GPS and fish finding technology that will quickly take you to fishing spots.
You'll use light or heavy tackle. You'll chase many beautiful fish dwelling in the area, including Rainbow Trout, Walleye, Crappie, Largemouth, smallmouth, spotted bass and more. Make your trip even better by bringing the whole family, especially the kids! The fish you catch can stay with you, so you can prepare delicious meals when back home or practice catch and release.
All the gear will wait for you on the boat. The captain will provide you with water, and he'll clean and fillet your catch if cleaning stations are available in the area that you launch from.You'll only need licenses and food for the trip.

We came hoping to catch a few fish…and quickly lost count! 🎣 Our guide clearly has the fish on speed dial because he put us right where the action was. Even in the middle of a heat wave, he kept us laughing, comfortable, and catching fish nonstop. The hours disappeared faster than our bait! Our two teenage boys were completely hooked from start to finish. And devoured our fresh catch later that night! If you’re looking for a guide who knows where the fish are, keeps everyone entertained, and makes you feel like a pro, book now! Fair warning: you may need a bigger cooler!

My kids and I had a wonderful time fishing today with Captain Eric! Since it was their first time fishing in Missouri, it was great having a true local who has fished here his whole life guide us. I usually take the back seat and help the kids with their snags and poles as needed, but Captain Eric took charge of the entire morning — and even Mom got to catch a fish! He was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive, and he stayed in touch with me leading up to our booking to make sure everything went smoothly. We definitely encourage others to give him a try if you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable trip!

Mike Gold provided the best service these WYOMING BOYS could’ve hoped for and provided memories that will last a lifetime. Booked a 4hr Bass Trip as part of my sons graduation trip. After being told the fish were scattered around due to the heavy rain over the weekend, I was a little worried, but we still managed to reel in over 10 bass each. Mike was a great guide, super knowledgeable, and just an all around awesome dude. Anyone that gets the chance to fish with Mike Gold would be a fool to pass it up.

Eric is truly Elite. He showed us what the fish were doing, how to catch them and isentify them. he also has a great personality. We had a great time and we would highly recommend. he is as excited about young kids as he an elderly couple that has never fished before. we will definitely try to see if we can fish with Eric again in the future. looking forward to fishing the next few days using these techniques. This is my second time put with Mr. O. My Buddy and I had a great time, caught lots of fish, and got out of our comfort zones with different fishing techniques. Don’t get me started on the Phoenix boat and electronics. I am a huge fan of bass fishing and Mr. O’s set up is top notch. He was able to find some really good spots for us and was patient whn we made mistakes. He even would get our hooks unstuck. He is a top tier guide with over 20 years of experience. We will be booking with him again in the near future.

Captain Eric has had a passion for fishing since he was just 3 years old. His grandfather was a resort owner and world record holder for Brown trout on the famed white river in Arkansas and he had a huge impact on Captain Eric. Some of Captain Eric's most vivid memories as a kid were spending time with his grandfather on the river. Captain Eric was just 10 when his grandfather passed away, and he had no idea that he was going to follow in his footsteps. You truly never know in what ways you may have an influence on children. Growing up, he would plant himself in front of the television with all his fishing gear and watch fishing shows. He used to dream of hoisting a big trophy on the National stage. In 2019, he fulfilled his dream happened by holding the trophy in the FLW Costa Series event on Table Rock Lake! He felt as his grandfather was with him that day!
