Owned and operated by Captain Brien Vaughn, Hooked on Branson Fishing offers year-round guided trips on Table Rock Lake, Bull Shoals, and Lake Taneycomo – three of the most productive fisheries in the Ozarks.
Captain Brien is a full-time guide and professional tournament angler with over 30 years of experience on the water. He competes in both the MLF and BASS circuits, and has qualified for the 2022 BFL All-American and the 2023 BASS National Team Championship. Whether you're a seasoned angler or stepping onto a boat for the first time, Brien tailors each trip to your experience level. Custom packages are available and can accommodate groups of all sizes.
You’ll be fishing from a brand-new 2024 iKon LX21 powered by a Mercury 250 four-stroke, equipped with tournament-grade rods, reels, and tackle. With cutting-edge electronics such as Lowrance HDS LIVE and advanced GPS trolling motors, Brien uses the latest technology to get you on fish quickly and effectively.
Target species include Bass, Crappie, Walleye, and Trout. Brien will teach you how to locate, pattern, and catch the species you’re after, as well as the most productive seasonal techniques. Crappie, Walleye, and Trout may be kept within regulations, and Brien will gladly clean your catch free of charge upon request.
Bring sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and a valid fishing license. All fishing equipment is provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer. A military discount is proudly offered.
He will contact you the evening before your trip to confirm the meeting location and final details.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our guided fishing trip! I took my two sons, and it turned into one of those memories we’ll be talking about for years. From the moment we got started, our guide Brien Vaughn was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does.
He made sure my boys felt comfortable and included every step of the way—teaching them techniques, encouraging them, and celebrating every catch like it was the biggest one of the day. You could tell he truly cared about making it special for us, not just going through the motions.
Not only did we catch fish, but we learned so much and had an amazing time doing it. The whole trip was smooth, fun, and perfectly organized. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide.
If you’re thinking about booking a fishing trip, don’t hesitate—this was worth every minute. We’ll definitely be back!

My son and I had a great time. Our guide Brien was super. Very easy going, great personality, equipment was top notch. Highly recommend!! Will use again. This trip is for anyone, regardless of your fishing experience. All you equipment is provided, just need your fishing license and that is easy to obtain.

Fantastic March Morning

Late March, AM three hour trip, boated over 15 bass, largemouth and Kentucky Spotted in just over two hours. Fished diffetent locations and Captain Brien put me on to fish in each place. Excellent foshing equipment and and technology, well explained technique, superb fishery (Table Rock), not overrun and very fishable, serene and calming. I highly recommend Brien and I will be back in two years.

I am a repeat customer. I am an experienced fisherman using baitcasters and Captain Brien has consistently put me on the fish. His equipment is top notch and his knowledge of the lake is unparalleled. This time I took my two young nephews and it was another epic trip. He was an incredibly patient teacher with the boys and they caught fish all afternoon. They haven’t stopped talking about it and it has been their favorite activity they have done so far while in Branson. In short, we think Captain Brien is the best and we will be back!!!!

I booked a trip for my 2 boys (10 and 12) who are obsessed with fishing… Brien had all 5 star reviews so figured we couldn’t go wrong. We had the best day! I had so much fun watching the fish on the sonar before they would bite on their lines. My kiddos learned a lot about ways to fish for different kinds of fish and what tackle to use. We had tons of laughs, some shenanigans, and the best last day of vacation. Book with Brien- he was awesome! (Thank you so much!)
