The charter is owned and operated by Captain Shane. He’s born and raised in St. Petersburg, where he’s been fishing his whole life. As a father of two daughters, you will see that he excels at teaching anglers of all ages. With the help of Captain Shane, you will be able to successfully land some of the most sought-after species, such as Snook, Redfish, Trout, Kingfish, and one of the greatest sportfish – Tarpon!
You will be fishing from a fully restored 2020 24’ center console Morgan. It includes lots of space for landing your catch and is powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. There’s enough room for 6 anglers to fish in comfort.
The boat is rigged with all necessary equipment including GPS, Fishfinder, bluetooth radio (connect your playlist), quality fishing rods and reels, tackle, and live bait housed in a 70 gallon bait well (a big hit for the kiddos!). Fishing licenses are provided by the captain.
The captain will also provide your fishing equipment. Everything will be ready to use before you even come on board. You only need to pack some sunscreen, snacks, and drinks for the day. You can also keep the fish you catch and it will be cleaned and filleted after the trip.

10 Hour Trip – Tarpon Special
Tarpon Fishing in the Books!
My son researched charters in the area that focused on Tarpon fishing because he was looking more for a fight than food. Shane was absolute best captain! He spent 10-hours with four 16 year old boys and was constantly putting them on schools of Tarpon. The fish just didn’t seem to be hungry. There were 3 decent bites, but those fish know how to break free. Even though the day was spent hooking and losing, the brief fights with Tarpon that were experienced was worth all of it. I highly recommend a charter with Shane @ Nautical Souls! My Son is already wanting to plan a trip back and do it all over again. This mama is just hoping that it’s on a cloudy day.!

The best fishing trip we ever had
Captain Shane was great. If i could rate him higher i would. He deserves it. When we met he treated us like old friends. We are not experienced in fishing and he really did a great job. We did the tarpon charter. Both my boys each caught huge tarpon. He helped them in every way he could. I would recommend shane to anyone who would like to fish. First class operation and a first class person. Thanks again Shane we had a great day we couldn't ask for more. We will definitely going fishing with him again.

Memories where made!
Captain Shane was awesome! He was great with my kids, even though my daughter was a little bit of a diva sometimes 😉. We fished multiple spots through out the day, we caught our fair share and he always made sure our hooks where baited and ready to go! It was a great all day fishing experience! We would definitely recommend him to anyone and we definitely will be back!

Amazing!
Shane was great! He provided everything needed to catch big fish! He knew lots of awesome spots and we would catch fish almost instantly! He would also help family members who were new to fishing. If you lost your bait, as soon as you turn around, Shane would have a new one ready. Overall, I would definitely recommend Shane.(note that we also went on a windy day and we still caught our limit of fish!)
