My son researched charters in the area that focused on Tarpon fishing because he was looking more for a fight than food. Shane was absolute best captain! He spent 10-hours with four 16 year old boys and was constantly putting them on schools of Tarpon. The fish just didn’t seem to be hungry. There were 3 decent bites, but those fish know how to break free. Even though the day was spent hooking and losing, the brief fights with Tarpon that were experienced was worth all of it. More

Captain Shane was outstanding. He came prepared having caught live bait at dawn and we caught fish all day, learning from him about the area and local fish, birds, etc. Excellent captain and a great day.

Captain Shane was great. If i could rate him higher i would. He deserves it. When we met he treated us like old friends. We are not experienced in fishing and he really did a great job. We did an afternoon trip water was pretty warm for fishing but Captain Shane was determined to get us on some fish . We went offshore , near shore then in the bay . We caught a couple but then my son wanted badly to catch a shark . Captain Shane made that happen after 1hr of chumming then water the fight was on!
