Can you have a bad day on the water? Not with Frank!
5 Hour Trip (AM) on July 12, 20252 adults3 children

Frank is an awesome fishing captain. He worked really hard to get us on fish all morning. Frank was great with my two nephews giving them very valuable fishing tips. He made sure to move around to hit the hot spots where the fish were. He explained where we were fishing and what types of fish to expect. He also pointed out quite a quite a few interesting places on the shore as we were driving and back. He also filet all the great fish we caught that day for us. The booking process and post booking instructions were very clear. I'm looking forward to another trip with Frank and Single Fin.

Frank is awesome!
8 Hour Trip – 302, 425, 371, Corner on July 6, 20243 adults

Thanks again for the fun trip. The weather in the morning was a bear but frank navigated through it and we were able to get some fishing in. We only caught a couple of fish but the weather was the reason. Frank tried multiple places and multiple ways of fishing but the weather just made the fish uninterested. Really wish the weather cooperated because I have a feeling frank would have been able to get us a boat load. Thanks again frank and the single-fin team!

A captain that has a genuine love for what he does
12 Hour Trip – Big Bluefin on July 22, 20234 adults

We had Captain Frank Flores on our boat for this charter and let me tell you, it was above and beyond any experience I had hoped for. It’s clear to see Captain Flores loves what he does. From the get go, he was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. My group were all first timers on saltwater and captain Flores, set us up, answered questions, and showed us how at an incredible pace that did not feel rushed and allowed us to learn. Captain Flores has many friends on the sea and it’s easy to see why, this came in handy when one of them found the fish before any other boats and called us in to get in on the fish before everyone else. I’m not sure who was more excited about us catching our first tuna, captain Flores or us. We were lucky to catch fish this time but with a captain like ours we were all having a great time we’ll before our lines were even in the water.

Bluefin with Captain Frank
12 Hour Trip – Big Bluefin on June 9, 20223 adults

Couldn't ask for a better trip. We went out for bluefin on a day when every other boat out there was struggling to get a bite. Captain Frank worked every clever angle to put us on the fish and he got us hooked up with two nice bluefin (about 40lb and 50lb). He took great care of the fish, getting them bled and on ice asap. The boat was fast enough to blow by all the other boats headed for the same tuna in the morning. It was our first tuna trip, so we had a lot to learn but the captain was super friendly and patient with us. He was great company and clearly passionate about tracking down the bite for every minute of a long day. We got to hear all about his experience working on the larger charter boats and all the insights he's picked up over the years. Really grateful for a very memorable day of great fishing. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Full day with Captain Frank
8 Hour Trip – 302, 425, 371, Corner on September 23, 20222 adults1 child

Had my 9 year old son, brother in law, and myself out in the Single Fin. It was an amazing day. Boat was clean, on time, and exactly what was advertised. We were fishing quickly and got into some Mahi very quickly. Fished around the rest of the day and ended at Coronado Islands where we caught yellow tail, trigger fish, and bass. Most importantly for me was that my son had a good time and he still hasn’t stopped talking about our day on the Single Fin. I would recommend booking with Captain Frank any time they have openings!
