Malihini Sportfishing Charters, based in San Diego, offers unforgettable angling trips where you can experience the vibrant local fishery. Join Capt. Bill Wilkerson or Capt. Peyton Freeman, who prioritize getting you on some great catches. Depending on the species you're targeting, you'll engage in various fishing techniques, including bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and kite fishing.

Choose from 6 to 12-hour trips to fish for incredible species like Yellowfin tuna, Bluefin tuna, Yellowtail, Mahi Mahi (Dorado), Halibut, Rockfish, and Seabass, all based on the season and weather conditions.

Our vessel, the Malihini, is 80 feet long and can accommodate up to 51 anglers, but we limit our trips to 30 for a more personalized experience. We value quality over quantity, treating our anglers like family and ensuring you feel at home on board.

Enjoy a complete galley with hot and cold food options, soda, beer, and snacks while fishing. Rods, reels, and terminal tackles can be rented directly from the boat, and all necessary fishing licenses and permits will be available for purchase on the day of your trip. Any legal species caught during your outing can be kept.

Please remember not to bring any food, beverages, or coolers on board. Children are welcome, making it a great opportunity to introduce the younger generation to fishing.

Book your trip with Malihini Sportfishing Charters now and get ready to hit the water!
