From the novice to the skilled angler on vacation or just looking to learn the area, Ozello Fish Company has you taken care of. Their boat is a 24’ 2014 NauticStar bay boat with a 250 HP Yamaha outboard. It has the capability to get you into the shallow water our inshore species love, yet keep you comfortable and dry should the weather turn during your trip. This is Florida after all, where the forecast is only good for 10 minutes at a time.

The trips target all inshore species that are available, most prevalent are Redfish, Trout, and Snook. However, it is not unusual to hook Tarpon, Grouper, and Tripletail during certain times of the year, as they make their migrations trying to find their perfect water temperature.

Family trips can be tailored to teach the less experienced how to rig baits, tying terminal tackle, and areas to look for to find fish on your own. Even when the weather and fish are not cooperating, the crew tries to put you on fish, and make sure the kids catch something.

During scallop season, a Nature Coast favorite, which typically runs from the beginning of July to the end of September. The crew provides all the gear necessary for you to snorkel the gin-clear waters in search of great tasting shells on the seafloor. Once again, the kids are not left out, as the normal water we find them in is only 3-6’ deep. It truly is a summertime Easter egg hunt.
