La Costa Charters welcomes anglers of all ages and skills! They operate in the region of Treasure Island Florida, and they can guide you across all the diverse fishing spots this area holds.  Under the guidance of Captain Patrick Eckelbarger, you get to have a thrilling experience at sea, whether you are a seasoned fishing enthusiast, or you are just opening yourself to the fantastic world of fishing.

You’ll be spending your trip across the waves on the AquaSport (center console) model from 1987, which has recently been restored (2020). This revamped vessel is 22 feet long and can take up to 4 guests. For your optimal fishing experience, there are fishfinding equipment and downriggers. The boat can get up to speeds of 30 knots with a single Yamaha engine.

With this charter, you can utilize the fisheries of the region to the fullest. You get to chose from inshore, nearshore, and offshore locations which include reefs, wrecks, and backcountry hotspots. You can go after the feisty Kingfish, Redfish, or snook or try your luck with mouthwatering Flounder. The charter also gives you the chance to try out many different techniques like light and heavy tackle, handline, or trolling, to name some.

Families with children are welcome. Guests are covered with the charter’s Florida fishing license, and additionally, all the fishing gear, bait, and lures will be ready on board. The crew includes a first mate, and they will happily help you with the preparation of your catch, should you get lucky.  All you need to do is bring your snacks and refreshments, and the crew will take care of the rest.

Have an amazing adventure in this fish-rich region, and hopefully get your fridge full by the end of the day. Book a trip with La Costa Charters and have an amazing time!
