Billy is the only true inshore and backewater charter captain and fishing guide for 16 years and over 35 years fishing the Daytona Beach area.
The boat is an brand new custom 2024 Avid 21FST Powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine, she reaches a maximum cruising speed of 25 knots. The 21FST is set up to get in the shallows chasing redfish and more. This is a safe and secure vessel with a GPS, life-jackets, a CPR trained crew, and fire extinguishers.
Your captain knowledge of the area will put you on the best fishing grounds. Once you catch your fish, there's an ice-box to preserve them until you return from your trip. captain Billy worked very hard to put us on fish, we paid for a 4 hour trip and ended up staying out 8 hours because captain Billy was working so hard to put us on the fish we wanted to catch. Hes also a great guy to be out on a boat with all day long. If your looking to book a fishinf trip with a captain that will work extra hard to put you on the fish this is definitely the charter for you!!
Captain Bill was awesome - he called a short time after the booking to get additional details and come up with a game plan. I told him my son really wanted to catch a shark. Captain Bill really worked hard and moved us to a different spot specifically to make sure that he could get a shark, my son was so excited about that!
Fishing with Captain Billy was like fishing with your best friend. We had plenty of laughs and good conversation. He took us to his “secret” spots, explained fish habitats and behaviors, and caught fish! We caught several species of fish which checked the boxes on my bucket list for fishing in Florida.

Captain put us on fish. Lots of them. 30+ fish, multiple sharks. Billy is great!
What a day! Billy was the most fantastic captain and guide!! Two girls out fishing with no expectations and he rounded out the bucket list. We caught a little bit of everything. The day was the most fun from sun to conversations. Finishing out day the storm rolled in to wash us off and then got to feed Pete the pelicans at the dock. My recommendation is to book with Billy!!!
