La Princesa Fishing Trips 

We had the best day of fishing with Captain Francisco on La Princesa. We caught Red Snapper, White Sea Bass, and a few Rock Bass and Corvina. To top off the day we had 5 Grouper bites. The Grouper won today as we didn't land any but the fight was amazing. I have fished with Captain Francisco several times and it never disappoints us. I would recommend a fishing trip on La Princesa anytime you are in Rocky Point area. Every trip is different and there are never any guarantees when it comes to fishing. All I know is that Captain Francisco will do his best to get you on fish and have a great day on the water. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned vet Captain Francisco will show you a good time.

My girlfriend and I went fishing with another couple who are friends of mine. We went to two spots and the fishing was a little slow. The third spot was the charm. We caught so many fish. Most of the time we had two fish on our line as we reeled them in. We couldn’t keep track who was catching the most fish. They were smaller fish but definitely big enough to eat. Towards the end of the day, we had a close encounter with a shark who came and took two fish from me as I was reeling them in. What a great experience. I’ll be booking another trip soon to go out and try for bigger fish next time.

This is the second time we have been on the La Princesa, and as before, the boat was very clean, in good shape and the captain and crew were friendly and professional. Captain showed up on time and the trip was the full 6 hours. We dropped down from 8 to 5 people and the captain was very nice and allowed us the change. The fishing was slow that day, which can happen, but we did catch fish (but not close to what we caught on our previous trip). The only improvement I might suggest is that would have been nice if we could have moved around a bit more, rather than staying in the same spot when fishing wasn't very good. Even so, it was a great trip, everyone caught fish and they all had a good time.
