We had the best day of fishing you could dream about today.  The ocean was calm and Captain Francisco took advantage of the great weather.  We traveled out about 10-12 miles in the calm seas.  The fish started biting on the first drop and never stopped.  We caught mostly huge Trigger fish wit a few very nice Red Snappers mixed in.  We actually got physically tired of catching these hard fighting fish.  I have no idea how many we caught but today will go down as one the best times I’ve... Fishing in October can be a little tough due to several things.  Fall and winter fishing around Puerto Penasco just gets tougher.  We caught fish, don’t get me wrong, just not as fast and furious as normal.  We moved several times when the bite slowed .  We caught several huge Triggers, a few Corvina, a few Rock Bass, along with Croakers and Lizard fish.  The trip was still fun and the La Princesa crew is top of the line.  I would recommend taking a trip with Captain Francisco anytime... Fantastic day, the 6 of us caught probably 70-80 fish, we all lost track they were coming in so fast. Sometimes two to a line. We went out and got some croakers for bait first and then started slamming the corvina. We mostly caught those with a few triggerfish, white channels, and one rock bass.
