Hundreds of thousands of Salmon migrate their way into the Columbia River, giving you a great opportunity for ocean trips and the famed Buoy 10 fishery.
Also available is a world class Sturgeon fishery in the river. These fish get up to 9 feet long, weigh a few hundred pounds, and can take 200 feet of line off your reel as fast as you can blink! If an ocean trip is booked and the conditions do not allow you to go out, you'll automatically defer to Sturgeon fishing in the river.
You'll be fishing on a 25' Willie Raptor, an aluminum vessel that easily navigates through these waters. The boat is powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine and features modern navigational electronics. There's enough room for 6 guests, so bring your fishing buddies along. In case you're on your own, don't give up on fishing - Captain Connor also offers shared trips, so you can cast alongside other fellow enthusiasts.
The trips are family-friendly and even kids can take their part of the action. All fishing equipment is covered by the captain and he also cleans your catch at the end of the trip. Start looking for tasty fish recipes or look for a good nearby restaurant.
You only need to pack your food, drinks, and a fishing license.
