The crew of Jersey Key 'inshore' offers exciting inshore fishing trips in Marathon, Florida. Join us in exploring some of the Florida Keys' best fishing spots and spend some enjoyable time on the water. Miles of reef combined with Keys weather will provide plenty of great fishing opportunities!
(We like to emphazise safety first and we will never take you out in bad conditions just to collect)
We want every trip to be a fun and successful day on the water. We are always looking for repeat customers!!
You'll start your trip on a 23' Hanson center console boat with enough space for a max of 5 anglers. It has a very wide beam which makes for a very stable platform while fishing. This boat has a tower which is huge benefit for sight fishing. It also is equipped with a trolling motor and a power pole which is essential for inshore fishing. It has modern navigation, communication, and fish locating systems, it features an ice-box, and is equipped with large live wells.
Captain Mike will take you to the bridges and inshore areas where you can target snapper, grouper, sharks, tarpon, trout, and cobia. The captain loves teaching kids and they are more than welcome on board.
Everything you'll need for fishing will be onboard. This includes rods, reels, terminal tackle, as well as lures and live bait. When the trip's over, the captain will clean and filet your catch with no extra charge. Licenses are included as well, so you only need to pack some food and drinks.

He knows these waters inside and out and is a great captain—patient, professional, and determined to get us on the fish. Watching my son hook into multiple tarpon was the highlight of our vacation. Absolutely Incredible Experience — Book This Trip!
I can’t say enough great things about Jersey Key Charters. From the moment we stepped on board, everything was top-notch. The captain was incredibly knowledgeable — clearly knows these waters inside and out — and made me and my son feel welcome.
The boat was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a full day on the water. And the scenery? Stunning. The Florida Keys never disappoint, and seeing them from the water is something else entirely.
But the real highlight? We absolutely hammered the fish. Came home with a fantastic catch and memories that’ll last a long time. The captain put us right on the fish and kept us productive all day long.
Highly, highly recommend. Will be back!

Fun Experience
Morning Tarpon Trip on April 7, 2026 • 2 adults • 1 child
Captain Michael was great. Everything was managed well, from the bait to primary, secondary and a few more fishing spots. We were wishing to land a Tarpon and he put us in the spot as we had numerous opportunities but all they did was play with the bait…. Sounds like others shared similar experiences that day! He did help us tie into a good fighting shark along with a Barracuda.

Great day on the water
3/4 Day Trip – 6 hrs on May 15, 2025 • 4 adults
Capt. Quinn was a very honest and hard working captain. He told me on the way out that the bite was slow because of the water movement and the moon phase. He was right, the bite was slow but he worked his tail off keeping the 4 of us baited up, chumming and relocating to several wrecks and reefs. He got us set up on a couple AJ’s but we lost those battles. He took us to another reef and we caught 15 Yellow-tail Snappers. We could have caught our limit of 40 but he recommended only 15 for conservation reasons, which I totally agreed with. After that we went to another wreck and my son and I each caught a nice AJ. So 15 YTS and 2 AJ’s, and calm seas equaled a great day in my book. I look forward to another trip with him one day.

we left on time and came back on time, Capt mike put us on the fish all day and we had a ton of tarpin hits and a little shark action.
Capt Mike was great with my HS duaghter who had never been on the big water, he gave her great tips and was fantastic!
cant wait til next year!
