Captain Scott's experience and guest-centered approach gives novice and experienced anglers alike a great foundation for a successful day aboard.
You'll fish a 2020 custom 30' Northwest Aluminum Craft that can accommodate up to 8 guests. It is powered by twin 250 HP Mercury SeaPro 4.6L V8 outboards and a comprehensive navigational suite from Simrad that will help you have a successful trip. There's a private marine head (toilet) forward, and guest lunch and beverage cooler (separate from the fish cooler) for your convenience.
Safety is at the forefront of Scott's planning and decisions on the water. This vessel is one of two fishing charter boats in Ucluelet to offer guests and crew the added safety of a life raft and EPIRB. This vessel packs an 8-man self-inflating Zodiac life raft, cradle mounted atop the house with a hydrostatic release. This 2022 unit is certified for commercial vessel use by Transport Canada and USCG.
This vessel has high gunnels and railings, great for containing kids. Scott welcomes kiddos on his trips. When booking with children under 10, please mention their ages in your message so we can confirm trip suitability, and suggest any trip alterations when beneficial.
The species you can encounter on your trip include Chinook (King) and Coho (Silver) Salmon, Halibut, Lingcod, and Rockfish. You can retain or release the fish you catch.
The captain provides premium fishing gear and will clean your catch after the trip. Please bring snacks and drinks for your group, as well as fishing licenses.

we had a very joyful fishing trip guided by Owen, at first, i hesitated if he could help us to catch the fishes since he was about 21 years old, even 10 years younger than my youndgest daughter. but later, we realized Owen in fact is very professional in fishing. people said "Dont judge people by its cover", it is well said here., he helped us to catah a lot of fishes which were what we wanted : lincod and rockfish. we all were super happy through the whole trip, defintely will come back again. thank you Owen, our little but professional captain.
Our family of 8 had an amazing day on the water with Scott! I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to fish in BC. We caught some great salmon and made some amazing memories. Scott took us to some amazing places and everyone got the chance to reel in a salmon during our trip. The bald eagle at the end was an amazing way to finish our day! Thank you Scott, great work!
Scott was very responsive, answered all our questions and worked to ensure we had an amazing trip. Our guide was Owen and he was friggin awesome. He took time to explain things to us, made sure we were comfortable and damn for a young man he sure knows his stuff. The boat was comfortable and the equipment was top-notch. We would 100 percent recommend Scott and his team.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 60 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
