My wife, son (8 yr), and I did a half day trip with Oceans West Adventures. It was great! We are beginners and Captain Owen was able to get us on to fish (Chinook, lingcod, and rock fish). We did a combination fishing and whale watching trip. As a family with 4 small children and larger (7) it is harder to find the ability to do things together. Scott was our captain and was amazing. Even when sum of us turned a little green and decorated his boat it was all in a days work. Our littles asked all kinds of questions and he answered like it was normal to have 3 degree. We had a great two days of fishing, caught our limit the second day and had good catches the first day despite very high winds.  The experience was one of the best I have had, really knowledgable and friendly captains who get you to the fish.  Could not recommend more highly, we will be back!

Scott called the night before and reqested our desired species and recommended what was Forcast for the next day of fishing. He didn’t let us down, we caught our limit within 2 hours of being on location. It was our 12 year Olds first time amd he won’t ever forget it. Can’t wait for next year. Thanks again Owen and Scott.
