Half Day Trip (Spring Rates) • 8 adultsOur family of 8 had an amazing day on the water with Scott! I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to fish in BC. We caught some great salmon and made some amazing memories. Scott took us to some amazing places and everyone got the chance to reel in a salmon during our trip. The bald eagle at the end was an amazing way to finish our day! Thank you Scott, great work!

3/4 Day Trip - 6:00 AM • 5 adultsScott was very responsive, answered all our questions and worked to ensure we had an amazing trip. Our guide was Owen and he was friggin awesome. He took time to explain things to us, made sure we were comfortable and damn for a young man he sure knows his stuff. The boat was comfortable and the equipment was top-notch. We would 100 percent recommend Scott and his team.

Half Day Morning Trip • 4 adultswe had a very joyful fishing trip guided by Owen, at first, i hesitated if he could help us to catch the fishes since he was about 21 years old, even 10 years younger than my youndgest daughter. but later, we realized Owen in fact is very professional in fishing. people said “Dont judge people by its cover”, it is well said here., he helped us to catah a lot of fishes which were what we wanted : lincod and rockfish. we all were super happy through the whole trip, defintely will come back again. thank you Owen, our little but professional captain.

What's biting with Oceans West Adventures in Ucluelet
Salmon and Halibut fishing are still strong, both offshore and in Barkley Sound. You're likely to catch Lingcod and Sockeye on the side. Drop a few crab traps and come home with a full cooler!

Squid Squid Squid! That's whats on the brain of chonooks this time of year!
A great start to the late June Chinook fishery in Florencia Bay and Food Islets this week.
The Chinook Salmon are drawn to the shallow bays, teeming with squid this time of year. The fishery is shallow and very entertaining. Pound for pound, the squid feeding chinook are the hardest fighting fish of the year. There's nothing quite like catching a big salmon in 20-50 feet of water. The last three days have been an absolute hoot for our multi day crews and a couple afternoon family groups.
The lingcod fishery is holding up nicely and continues to produce great numbers. Anglers are allowed 3 lingcod each right now. These white meat hunters stocked the freezer with 110lbs of ling fillets yesterday. Good show Fellas.
