3/4 Day Trip on December 28, 2025 • 2 adultsMy wife and I had a wonderful 3/4 day trip with Captain Luis and First Mate Tony on the Kamelia. We were fishing for Mahi and Marlin. We did not find the Mahi, but we did find the Blue Marlin. It was an awesome experience to bring such a beautiful fish to the boat. It was a day that I will never forget! We had a second Blue Marlin get on, but sadly it got off. We also hooker some barracuda that were fun to catch. We didn’t bring any fish home to eat, but that did not matter with the fish we did catch. Thank you Luis and Tony for an unforgettable day.

The seas reminded us how small we were but Captain Luis and 1st Mate Rene worked diligently to put us on the bite. When two reels started screaming simultaneously…Captain Luis, with a wink and a smile, handed me the rod and said…Enjoy the fish!!!! My first fight with a WHITE MARLIN!!! The marlin gave us an aerial display that I have only experienced in videos. An experience of a lifetime and the best 56th birthday present my family blessed me with. Captain Luis has a vast knowledge of the fishery and will put you on them!!! Being a boater, I really appreciated Captain Luis’ professionalism ensuring all souls on his boat were safe. For an amazing friendly experience call Captain Luis. I plan to again. Thank you Captain Luis and 1st Mate Rene!!! P.s. Happy Birthday Captain!!! Thanks for taking us out on your birthday!!! Half Day Trip on January 11, 2024 • 4 adultsWe took our four kids out with Captain Luis (ex school teacher!) and first mate, Rene and we had a blast. Sea sickness got the best of us (get your Dramamine while you're in town because it was hard to find!) So we had to cut it short, but not before plenty of Dorado and tuna action! We had two Dorado on at once, male and female, between my wife and I and got to witness those beautiful animals jump and fight! We landed one and then went off to find a tuna school. Luis and Rene coached the kids on how to look for birds and bait balls. We only made it 5 miles out and I'm confident the Captain would have put us on a sail fish or Marlin had we been able to stomach the seas for our half day adventure. Regardless, it was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to any level of fisherman. Thank you Captain!

We had a wonderful morning out on the sea. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish, but that’s all part of fishing—and it just means there will be an even bigger one waiting for us next time we charter with this crew! The captain worked hard throughout the trip, actively switching between different setups and baits for tuna and blue marlin to give us the best possible chance. The crew was very friendly and professional, and the whole experience was fantastic. We would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great fishing charter. I booked this trip for my husbands 30th bday. Sadly, we had to turn around though because I was extremely seasick (so if you're going with people are prone to getting seasick, leave them home!) All and all it was still a good time though. They really knew what they were doing and were really friendly. They did everything they also could to take care of me when I got seasick. I noticed even when I asked to be taken back that they still had the lines out to the very last second they could, which I really thought was nice that they didn't just pack up immdiately. Next time I'm in PR, I will book them again. This time just for my husband though!
