Trolling, live baiting, and bottom fishing are available, as well as snorkel trips combined with fishing. Your trip can be customized to include everything you desire. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that's dinner!

Your boat for the day is a 35' Contender, tournament-rigged, with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait fishing is an option.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Makaira Fishing Charters welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Don't leave home without snacks, sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Soft drinks and water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.
