Sportfishing Las Terenas – 28'

4.1/5 (6 reviews)
Pedro Francisco Bono, Las Terrenas, 32000, Dominican Republic

There’s nothing more exciting than deep sea fishing! So pack your sunscreen and join Sportfishing Las Terenas on yet another adventure. This time, Captain Eugenio offers a different boat, perfect for smaller groups of anglers. If you’ve never gone fishing before, this is the right moment. Start your journey with an experienced captain who’ll show you all the tricks you need to land your first fish.

The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 28’ Panga boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. The boat is powered by twin 60 HP 2020 Yamaha engines that reach the speed of 20 knots. Besides GPS and new safety gear, the vessel also features a cooler and snorkeling gear.

You’ll mostly explore offshore waters, which offer more versatile targets, such as Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Barracuda, Skipjack Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, and many more. Not only are these fish tasty, but they are also hard fighting, fast, and fun to catch. Test your skills with them and try to level up. After the trip, the crew will share the catch with you, so you’ll leave the boat with the freshest fish meat you’ll ever find.

All of your fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks are included in the price. You only need to prepare your fishing license and pack some sun protection. If you want to customize your trip, get in touch with the captain in advance.

Your journey starts here. Sportfishing Las Terenas welcomes you aboard!

We weren’t catching anything for a while but when we came back to one of the buoys we caught some dorado on hand line which was really fun and we got to keep one. The Captain and crewmate were really nice and helpful and had snacks and drinks.

The boat preformed well and we felt safe even in rough water. The Captain and mate did an excellent job of trying to catch the fish we requested, but they were not biting, so we went after a different species. The Captain knows good English and is responsive to your requests. Leland

I have been fishing since I was 5 years old with my father in Argentina in rivers, lakes, and sea. Since I came to the Caribbean 7 years ago, I'm still fishing for fun and enjoy taking friends and tourist out. I am now doing it professionally and also take part in tournaments. My other job is marketing online so I build my own audience and online platforms for tourist operators.
