Fllargemouth Charters and Captain Ricky Martes welcome you to Lake Worth, Florida! Pay them a visit and have a wonderful lake fishing experience in a destination known for its natural beauty and fish diversity. The captain has the best rates around and will make sure you have a trip to remember.
You'll be fishing from a 17' Carolina Skiff bass boat that can carry up to 3 adults or or 2 adults and 2 children. It uses a 175 HP Evinrude engine, all the modern GPS and fishfinder technology for safe and efficient navigation, and has got a livewell and an ice-box.
Captain Ricky a freshwater enthusiast and he'll share this passion with you and your companions. Some of the lovely predator species you'll target include Largemouth, Peacock, and Hybrid Bass, as well as the elusive Clown Knife Fish and the South Florida Bullseye Snakehead. You'll catch them by trolling on both heavy and light tackle and you're free to take your catch home if you want to. Kids are more than welcome to join aboard, so do bring them as well.
Captain Ricky covers you for all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and even drinks, so you'll only need to bring your fishing licenses and your favorite food. Please note

Perfect fishing trip

We could not wish for a better Captain! We arrived 10 minutes before the trip and he was all set and ready to go! Great boat, great equipment, fun speedy ride that we all enjoyed! The Captain was caring, knowledgeable, fun, he was so patient with us and kids! Laid back, great energy! He also changed several locations making sure we all get the full experience and catch a fish. We had a great time!

2 Hour Trip – Peacock/Exotic (12PM) on January 20, 2026 • 2 adults
we were down for a few days to play golf. I have always wanted to catch a peacock bass. I had a different trip booked but cancelled on me last minute. I hit up captain rick and he squeezed us in no problem. It was only a two hour trip and the wind was blowing and the water was cold but he didn’t disappoint. I caught my first peacock bass around 2-2.5 lbs and my buddy and i caught 6-7 largemouth each, some close to 3.5-4 lbs! We had a great time. Probably make it an annual part of our trip going forward !

February fishing trip

Captain Ricky was very efficient and made good use of our 2 hour trip. We stopped at several spots in the Lake Clarke Shores area and caught a variety of fish, mostly largemouth bass. The bass were good size! Unfortunately I think the peacock bass were in short supply due to a recent cold snap. Ricky was friendly and helpful. He was great with our kids and took some nice family photos that he shared following the trip. We all had a blast and would definitely book with him again!

Great day out with Captain Ricky. The day was set up for my 14 year old son, and he had a great day. The two of them sounded like long time fishing buddies, and my son gained a ton of new knowledge. Captain Ricky was very experienced and prepared for our trip. He had us catching fish within the first 10 minutes of boarding his boat. His knowledge of the lake and canals was impressive and you could tell he was really devoted to providing us with a great experience . Thank you Captain, we’ll definitely see you next year.

We really enjoyed our time with Captain Ricky. His communication before the trip was awesome, and he was accommodating to our needs. We had lines in the water in 10 mins, as Captain had live bait ready to go for us. He was fun to hang out with and very helpful. He got us on some good fish and is a great guy. We will be back out with him in the future!
