Explore the beaches of Riverhead, NY with Captain Alfred, who's been fishing for over 34 years. He got his experience in the waters of the Eastern Long Island and has been guiding other people for over 5 years now.
Capt. Alfred caters to anglers of all skill levels, from beginners to hardcore ones. There's even a 90-minute casting lesson you can take if you want to get more familiar with the equipment and learn basic moves.
Unlike most fishing trips, you can take this adventure without worrying about seasickness. There's no boat and you'll spend the whole time safe on the beach. Take all the space you need and move around. To make sure he's fully dedicated to you, Capt. Alfred limits only 2 guests per trip.
Your main target is Striped Bass, but you can also catch Bluefish and Weakfish. You'll mostly combine spinning with light tackle. The Captain lets you keep the catch within legal limits and it's encouraged to release larger slot fish.
All COVID precautions will be required. Customers can bring their own gear but rods/reels/lures can be provided. Chest waders aren't supplied but are generally necessary. You'll need a fishing license, for which you can apply online for free.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
