Come visit California and have a memorable day on the water with Ez Sportfishing! You’ll enjoy and have lots of fun fishing the highly productive waters of Huntington Beach, a first-rate angling destination with an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean. You and Captain Eric will explore both inshore and offshore spots along with reefs and wrecks that are always a good source of fish. Come and see the great natural diversity of South California as you enjoy a day on the water.
Captain Eric uses a 28’ Parker pilothouse boat that’s powered by two 250 HP Yamaha engines and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The boat’s got a toilet, bed, and flybridge, uses full-featured navigation electronics, and is equipped with outriggers, a livewell, and an ice-box. Also, there will be a first mate present on board to give you any assistance you may need.
The waters around Huntington Beach are especially productive and offer many different species to catch. There’s calico bass, yellowtail, mahi mahi, Tuna, Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut, Swordfish, and many more to chase. You can also try out various techniques to catch them, including bottom fishing, trolling, kite fishing, and more. You’re free to choose if you’ll keep or release the fish you catch.
Captain Eric supplies you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and live bait, and he’ll also clean your catch free of charge. Before you depart, just pack some food and drinks and don’t forget your fishing licenses. Due to the fluctuating fuel prices, trips may be subject to a fuel surcharge.

My buddies and I were looking to get into saltwater fishing and none of us have had much experience in doing so. We're lucky to have found Captain Eric and First Mate Ethan as they were absolute pros in guiding us to having the best experience possible. We had one goal in mind and that was to catch as much fish as possible and Captain Eric lead us to a spot that had constant action. They were there to teach and support us through every step of the way and before we knew it our 5 hour trip was already coming to an end. Highly recommend for anyone out there looking to have a fun time and will be definitely looking to book again soon!
Only giants for you guys! None of those little fish like the cattle boats. Good fishin, look forward to seeing you out again soon
Captain and Ethan practically served up the best fishing trip I have had in a long time. I came in from the desert of Vegas to beat the heat and treat my work team and my daughter to an adventure deep sea fishing. This was a first for all of them as not one has been deep sea fishing and some never on a boat. Captain took us to where they had seen them the day before and we nailed one right off the bat. Then it went dead for approximately an hr. He redirected us roughly an hr south to find blue fin smorgasbord. 6 in total last one 70-80 lbs. My team has been talking about it all morning, fantastic trip thanks to our captain and first mate Ethan. Will be back next year for sure!!
Thank you Scott for taking the time to write out everything, we give it 150% every trip to make sure it’s the trip of a life time! We don’t want you have a good trip we shoot for great or in your case fantastic! Haha See you guys next season when you’re out here again!
We had a great time with Eric and Ethan we caught fish constantly all day. We had great and interesting conversations about fishing and aquatic life. There was a blue shark swimming next to our boat and we were able to catch it. Eric and Ethan made us feel comfortable and at ease while catching this shark. They explained that this sharke was like a puppy dog of sharks. My daughter and son who are 5 and 6 were super stoked after this trip. They were able to reel in many fish. On our way back to the dock we were able to see some porpoises. we had such a good time and were able to get great photos and videos. We can't wait to come back!

Eric and Ethan provided my family and I an awesome experience. Our 6 & 7 yr old boys said it was a highlight of our trip. My wife and I agree. We caught a lot of fish and the equipment was great for our lil guys to reel the fish in themselves. We recommend booking this trip if you are considering it!
