Full Spectrum SF – Sea Monkey 

We had an absolutely fantastic fishing trip with Captain Larry! Six of us from the technical department at Mulholland Brand went out for the day, and Captain Woody, Larry’s nephew, did a great job arranging everything for us. Captain Larry was outstanding from start to finish. Several of the guys were new to fishing, and he was incredibly patient and helpful, taking the time to show everyone what to do and making sure we all had a great experience. We started out trolling and caught a shark, which we safely released, along with a few other fish. Captain Larry then took us to another spot where we dropped our lines to the bottom—and that’s when the action really started! We ended the day with an impressive 22 nice-sized fish. At the end of the trip, Captain Larry even cleaned all the fish for us, which was a great way to finish an already excellent day. Great captain, great fishing, and a really memorable day for the whole group. Captain Larry knows his waters and knows how to put you on the fish. We would highly recommend Captain Larry and Captain Woody to anyone looking for a fun and successful day on the water. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a great trip woth Captain Larry. Took my 13 and 11 yr old aona on thier forst ocean fishing half day trip. Captain Larry was great. Pulled up to the dock at 7:00 on the nose. After thr bait barge He took us straight to the oil derecks where we all immediately hooked up on some nice Calicos, Sand Bass, Barracuda. He then took us for some bottom fishing. He wqs very patient with the boys. Toed up their rigs, took fish off their hooks and placed new bait. Even had some fishing pointers to add in. In the end we motored in and he took pictures of us with our catch and filleted our fish and we were on our way. I highly recommend.

Five stars, no question. I went out this past weekend with a group of five – including two kids – and Captain [Name] absolutely delivered from start to finish. What stood out immediately was how dialed-in he was. He read the water, moved us to multiple productive spots, and put us on fish consistently. We ended up landing two legal white seabass, which alone would’ve made the trip. But beyond the results, what really impressed me was how he ran the boat. Everything was handled – rigged, ready, and in the water – without me ever needing to step in, even though I was happy to help. That kind of efficiency tells you everything about how experienced and prepared he is. Having kids on board can add a layer of complexity to any charter, and he handled that seamlessly. The whole group had a great time. If you’re looking for a captain who knows where the fish are, keeps the trip organized and fun, and makes everyone feel taken care of, look no further. Already thinking about the next one.

Capt Woody stepped up last minute, when my previous booked trip cancelled the day before it was to happen! First impressions were great: The boat was clean, the location was perfect, he was on time and a genteman. The fishing was outstanding … the first spot he took us to was jumping! We were on fish instantly. Caught our limit and moved to another spot to still catch more. We had a first time angler with us and Capt Woody was a great instructor. The day was a huge success and we cant wait to go out with him again!

Captain Larry did a great and professional job of communicating with everyone, getting us out on the fish, and managing the monotony of everyone constantly hooking up, needing bait, and even bathroom breaks. he is very family friendly yet firm on keeping everything in order and clean. Excellent time!

I’m not a fisherman, I dont live in CA. the captain handled everything and made us feel very comfortable with the entire experience.

Captain Larry had a gleaming, clean boat, and was well organized and very efficient. He took us to several spots and we took home sand bass and sculpin, and my son caught a couple of barracuda, which definitely made his day! We only wish we’d booked a longer trip!

We had an Awesome experience with Captain Woody. He was patient with our group as it was 4 of the groups first time fishing. He took us to a spot where we all were able to catch multiple fish. We caught four different types of fish. He made my sons 12th birthday unforgettable.

Captain Woody hosted myself and my two teenage sons in March 2026. Our 4 hour trip was everything and more! Outside of catching constantly, Woody was so focused on everyone having a great time on his amazing fishing boat. There are many charters to choose in this area, but you can not go wrong with booking here - will do this everytime we’re in town with Woody!!

Wouldn't call it fishing but catching fish none stop. It was a great trip and wouldn't recommend to anyone. On this day we caught copious amounts of Calico Bass and Sand Bass.
