NSB Shark Hunters – Ormond Beach 

We had an amazing experience and caught 5 sharks. The captain and 1st Mate were spectacular. We laughed and shared some great moments together as a family. I would highly recommend Shark Hunters!!!

Chris, Matt, and Dustin are amazing and very informative. My son and his best friend who are teenagers had the time of their life, learning and catching a shark. So glad they got to bring in a shark. Thank you all very much.

Matt & Josh were wonderful guides! They took time demonstrating how to handle the equipment & were very hands on. Extremely personable & knowledgeable about fishing in general. Great for families, couples, & beach lovers!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on this shark fishing trip! I booked it for my seven-year-old son, who has always loved fishing and has been fascinated by my past shark fishing trips. While I’ve been on a few shark excursions before, I had never tried fishing for sharks from the shore, and this turned out to be the perfect opportunity for my son to experience it firsthand. Our guides, Owen and Josh, were phenomenal. They were already fully set up and ready to go when we arrived, and within just five minutes we had our first line in the water. Before we even had the second rod out, we had already hooked our first shark! By the end of the evening, we landed two nice-sized sharks and hooked several more. What impressed me most was how Owen kept my son engaged throughout the entire trip. I had worried that a seven-year-old’s attention span might not last, but instead it turned into an unforgettable educational experience. Owen showed him how to catch sand fleas and ghost crabs, which was just as exciting for my son as the sharks themselves. These are memories he’ll carry with him forever. Another incredible aspect, one I hadn’t read about before,is that every shark caught is tagged for research purposes. I loved this added element of contributing to science and conservation, and it made the experience even more meaningful. My wife and I have already said we can’t imagine visiting Florida again without booking another trip with NSB Shark Hunters. Owen and Josh are two exceptional young men who clearly have a true passion not just for fishing, but for educating and creating unforgettable experiences for others. If you’re on the fence about booking this trip, don’t be! You’ll have the time of your life. I cannot say enough good things about NSB Shark Hunters, especially Owen and Josh. Highly recommended!

We were visiting NSB for only a few days and signed up with the NSB Shark Hunters last minute - so glad we did. One of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had and we pulled in FOUR SHARKS. Really was an unforgettable experience, and it was very easy to book even though we signed up just the night before we went out fishing. I should note I am not an experienced fisher (haven’t fished for probably 10 years and only gone maybe 12 times in my whole life) but the guys made learning very easy. Dean and Reed were great teachers and made the whole experience crazy fun, and we will absolutely be coming back next time we are in NSB.

We had a blast trying to catch a shark, Matt and Lucas were awesome guides. Very nice and friendly we had a large group of spectators and they were very patient and attentive to everybody, including the small children ages 2 and 5 out there for 5 hours. They provided us with so much local knowledge and answered all our questions. Would 100% recommend!!!

My family and I had a fantastic time with Reed from the Ormond Beach location. We were successful in catching not only sharks but other fish as well! I can not thank you enough for the experience, time, and hospitality extended to us during our experience. Reed is extremely knowledgeable, polite, entertaining, extremely motivated in making sure EVERYONE gets to do or get something! Many thanks again for this awesome experience!! Myself and my son had a great time with sergeant Dean miller and reed. Unlike other charter company's where you are treated as a client, We were treated as friends. The night was full of great story's and information. I highly recommend fishing with NSB Shark hunters. I can truly say I had a great time with these two professionals. You can tell that fishing to them is more then a job it is something they truly enjoy. Thank you so much for a great evening. I will be booking again soon.

When we first arrived we were greeted by Brian who was extremely friendly and had already set up. He had chairs set up in case we wanted to just sit and wait, we are more of a hands on couple so we did not use them, and he explained the process and had waters for us as well. Steve came shortly after and was also extremely friendly. The 2 of them got us so excited. They let us bait the lines and try our hand at casting. It was much more difficult than it looked but they were very encouraging and the entire experience was so much better because of their amazing personalities and knowledge. We learned so much about where and why the sharks are found and what conditions are best to fish. My boyfriend and I were given every possible opportunity to be involved and we couldn't have had a better experience because of it. We had a few runs but nothing set and Brian and Steve never gave up and continued to give us their everything. Their determination to make this a great experience kept us excited. Towards the 3rd hour we finally hooked our shark! It took almost an hour to reel in, but Brian and Steve spotted us as we took turns. What a workout! They explained the process and continued to encourage us and cheer us on while continuing to communicate what was happening. We were all trying to guess what we had on the hook and when we finally got it to shore, Brian and Steve worked incredibly quick. We unhooked, measured, tagged, and took quick photos and he was back in the water. 7.8ft LEMON SHARK!! What a beautiful creature. One of the greatest experiences of our lives. Brian even made us a video while we worked on reeling him in. So thankful for that memory. To top the night off as we packed up and walked up the beach a sea turtle came on land and made a nest right in front of us!!! Brian and Steve were quick and knowledgeable about the laws and we kept our distance but what a treat to end a fantastic fishing experience. We could not had better guides. Brian and Steve are worth their weight in gold and were a great team. We are so thankful for this experience of a lifetime and it was made memorable because of them!
