Went out on a night fish with Matt in NSB. Matt was super helpful and informative on all things surf and shark fishing. We had a great time on the beach shooting the breeze and enjoying just being out there. A little later in the night hooked into what can only be described as the greatest fight I’ve ever felt on the on the end of the pole. We went on to bring in 10ft shark that took over an hour to land. What a great fight, great time and great catch. Thank you Matt and NSB Shark Hunters I couldn’t done this without you! I’ll definitely be back again!

We booked a trip with NSB Shark Hunters and had an absolute blast! Captain Dustin and his first mate Dean were top-notch, super professional, funny, and made the whole experience memorable from start to finish. Even though the sharks weren’t biting heavy that night, we still got a few good hits, and honestly, the energy on the beach more than made up for it.
They kept the vibes high, the drinks flowing, and made sure we were having a great time the entire trip. You can tell they love what they do and know their stuff. If you’re looking for a fun, laid-back day on the water with a crew that makes you feel like part of the family, this is the charter to book. Can’t wait to go out with them again, next time the sharks better watch out!

If shark fishing with Capt. Dustin isn’t on your bucket list, it should be and put it at the top!
He and Shell made it the most fun we’ve maybe ever had. My 31-year-old who caught the shark said it was “the sickest thing I’ve ever done.”
Of course I was concerned the shark was stressed, but we got our pictures and got her back in the water very quickly. She swam away unharmed, but probably thinking, “I gotta stop coming here” because it turned out she was already tagged with one of Dustin’s tags! She had grown from 5 feet to 7 feet and about 300 pounds in the 2 1/2 years since she was first tagged.
We learned a lot about sharks and conservation. I just can’t say enough about this adventure. We will do it again and again when we come to New Smyrna Beach!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on this shark fishing trip! I booked it for my seven-year-old son, who has always loved fishing and has been fascinated by my past shark fishing trips. While I’ve been on a few shark excursions before, I had never tried fishing for sharks from the shore, and this turned out to be the perfect opportunity for my son to experience it firsthand.

Our guides, Owen and Josh, were phenomenal. They were already fully set up and ready to go when we arrived, and within just five minutes we had our first line in the water. Before we even had the second rod out, we had already hooked our first shark! By the end of the evening, we landed two nice-sized sharks and hooked several more.

What impressed me most was how Owen kept my son engaged throughout the entire trip. I had worried that a seven-year-old’s attention span might not last, but instead it turned into an unforgettable educational experience. Owen showed him how to catch sand fleas and ghost crabs, which was just as exciting for my son as the sharks themselves. These are memories he’ll carry with him forever.

Another incredible aspect, one I hadn’t read about before,is that every shark caught is tagged for research purposes. I loved this added element of contributing to science and conservation, and it made the experience even more meaningful.

My wife and I have already said we can’t imagine visiting Florida again without booking another trip with NSB Shark Hunters. Owen and Josh are two exceptional young men who clearly have a true passion not just for fishing, but for educating and creating unforgettable experiences for others.

If you’re on the fence about booking this trip, don’t be! You’ll have the time of your life. I cannot say enough good things about NSB Shark Hunters, especially Owen and Josh. Highly recommended!

My 11-year-old son and I went fishing with Dustin at Bethune. We were over from the UK and had close-to-zero fishing experience but just love sharks! 🦈

The team were great - very supportive, attentive, knowledgeable and safety-conscious too. They went completely above and beyond to make our experience a cracking one.

To top off a great evening, full of interesting conversation with a few beers, my son reeled in a perfect black nose shark too!
