Even though we didn’t catch any sharks, we really enjoyed our evening with Matt. Within minutes of booking the charter, Matt reached out to introduce himself. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and he did a great job keeping my kids (ages 12 and 22) engaged the whole time. He really took the time to teach them along the way. My youngest was thrilled just to be able to catch bait fish. His helper Chris was great too. Prior to arriving, I honestly thought I would be ready to go home within an hour, but the time went by quickly and the kids and I left the beach talking about when we’d be able to book another charter.

Bonus points for the location — parking was close and convenient, restrooms were right there and there was a nice spot to rinse the sand off. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time with NSB Shark Hunters! We didn’t land a shark this trip, but that’s fishing—and we’d absolutely go again. We did hook into a blacktip, and watching the line scream off the reel had everyone excited! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to bring her in, but it was still an awesome experience.

The captain and crew were incredibly kind, patient, and worked hard to put us on fish all day. We caught plenty of other fish, so the kids stayed entertained the entire trip and never got bored. Between the great people, beautiful weather, and excellent customer service, it was a fantastic day on the water. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back to try for that shark again!

We took four of our teenage grandchildren on this adventure, with Captain Dustin. Dustin made a point to spend time with each of the kids, teaching them about the sharks, the tides, and how to read the water. Even though the rigs were very large and heavy to manage, he found ways that the kids could cast and help him change the bait.  we enjoyed hanging out with him and Shell on the beach on a beautiful summer evening in NSB. Although the sharks won this time and we didn’t catch anything, the kids unanimously said it was a great time and they would do it again! highly recommend this adventure !

We had an awesome time shark fishing with Dustin and Chelle! The experience was still 5 stars from start to finish. We learned so much about shark fishing, the ocean, and what goes into chasing these incredible beasts.

Dustin and Chelle are the real deal — knowledgeable, patient, and you can tell they are truly passionate about fishing and making sure everyone has a great experience. They worked hard the entire time and made the trip fun, exciting, and memorable.

We come into town once a year, and there’s no question we’ll be booking with them again when we’re back. 🦈

My son and I went shark fishing with Matt, and he was fantastic. He has extensive knowledge of the local sharks and other fish species in the area. His equipment was well-maintained and performed flawlessly throughout the trip.

Matt was especially great with my 10-year-old son, answering all of his questions and keeping him involved the entire evening. We started by catching bait, which was a fun way to pass the time before dark.

Even when a storm rolled in, it didn’t slow us down. We were fortunate enough to catch and tag two blacktip sharks, which was an incredible experience. My son hasn’t stopped talking about it since!

It was a wonderful trip with an outstanding guide. I highly recommend Matt and NSB Shark Fishing to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.
