Captain Tom will welcome you aboard his 26' Privateer Center Console, powered by a 300HP Yamaha outboard. With its wide 10' beam, it offers plenty of room for our guests to fish comfortably. Equipped with Garmin electronics, two insulated fish boxes, a spacious upper station with power and controls for sight fishing, and a Fusion Marine stereo system, the ChasinTyde is ready to get you on the fish and help you fill the freezer.
Outer Banks fishing is truly like no other. With the exciting opportunity to catch all types of fish, including but not limited to, Cobia, Red Drum, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, Bluefish, Flounder, Sheepshead and Triggerfish.
High-quality rods, reels, and tackle will be provided, as well as your fishing license. All bait, lures, and jigs are included with every trip. Feel free to bring aboard your favorite beverages and snacks to keep your energy up, and don't forget your sunblock and camera!

Full Day Trip on June 3, 2025 • 3 adultsWe had a great experience with Chasin Tyde Charters in OBX! My dad, brother, and I went out with them and had a perfect day on the water. From the moment we stepped on the boat, the crew made us feel welcome and at ease. They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We caught a ton of fish (drum, bluefish, triggerfish, flounder, and seabass) to the point that our arms hurt at the end of the day. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable for the whole trip. Whether you're an experienced angler or just looking for a fun day on the water, Chasin Tyde is the way to go. Highly recommend!

Great Day Inshore in OBX
3/4 Day Trip on October 5, 2024 • 3 adultsI recently had the pleasure of fishing with **Chasin Tyde Charters** out of Manteo, NC, and it was an experience to remember! Captain Tom Dileo and first mate Tom were exceptional in every way. They knew exactly where to take us, and within no time, we were right on top of the speckled trout and redfish bite. Their knowledge of the backwater sand bars and grass flats was impressive, and their expertise ensured we had a productive and action-packed day on the water. The 26-foot boat, while equipped with basic amenities, was spacious and a perfect fishing machine. There was more than enough room for our group of three, even though we’re all big guys! The Meat Hog Rods and Diana reels provided were top-notch and in excellent condition, making for a smooth and enjoyable fishing experience. If you're looking for a great fishing charter in the Manteo area, **Chasin Tyde Charters** should be your top choice. Captain Tom and first mate Tom know their waters and go above and beyond to deliver an outstanding fishing adventure!

Full Day Trip on July 25, 2025 • 2 adultsWe had an absolutely amazing day fishing with Tom and his dad! It started very slow but they kept working really hard to get us on fish and it payed off big!! Limited out on Mahi and caught a few Cobia!! I have been on many fishing charters and have never had a crew work as hard as they did. Highly recommend! Will definitely be fishing with them again!

3/4 Day Trip on May 15, 2023 • 3 adultsMy dad, my brother, and I went out on this 3/4 day trip and had a great time! We caught about 20 fish, including speckled trout, blues, a Spanish mackerel, and a flounder. We only kept enough for a delicious dinner due to size restrictions, but it wasn’t for lack of trying! Tom and Tom were extremely knowledgeable and took us to numerous locations around the sound, staying out even past our allotted time to try and get us a few more fish. Communication was excellent before and during the trip, and we spent a lot of time fishing with beautiful views of the sound and Bodie Island Lighthouse. We’re already looking forward to booking another trip next year!

3/4 Day Trip on July 27, 2024 • 4 adultsFishing was slow for us when we went. Poor weather conditions and unusual wind pattern made the fishing hard. ChasinTyde were persistent on getting us fish. We tried several spots and methods. They got us on to fish, and even stayed out with us another hour since the fish took so long to cooperate. I would recommend ChasinTyde Charters to anyone, and I will be rebooking them in the future!

Just had an amazing time. The boat is one of the best that we have been on. The captain was awesome. He put us on the fish from the very start despite some challenging weather conditions. The crew were patient and knowledgeable and we caught so many fish!! I really enjoy fishing with these guys and this was our second trip with them. We will be back next year. Thanks again for just a great trip.
