Sandusky Bay provides hundreds of thousands of hard-fighting Catfish that are ready to rumble all summer long. This is an opportunity for families and friends to fish together, bond, have fun, and get those tasty fish fillets in their bags.
You’ll be fishing on a 25’ Sweetwater pontoon that takes up to 6 guests per trip. This catfishing machine is well outfitted, has seating arranged for optimal fishing conditions, and she’s powered by a 50 HP Yamaha engine. Besides all necessary navigational and safety gear, the boat also features a private toilet.
In case you have a larger group, the captain can arrange 2 more boats to join. Get in touch first, so a customized trip can be arranged.
Every day from May till September, you can choose between a morning and an afternoon trip. You’ll explore Sandusky Bay, which is a part of Lake Erie, home to the world-famous Cedar Point. On some days, you can catch fish just a few hundred yards from the coasters. There is no bigger thrill than the screams of youngsters fighting these big Cats.
Captain Paul provides everything you need equipment wise. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license in advance and pack some snacks and drinks for the day. Beer is allowed, but please don’t bring hard liqueurs.

4 Hour Trip on June 21, 2025
Have never been on Lake Erie and didn't know what to expect. We took the walleye boat out, catfished for 4 hours. Everyone caught fish. Then when things died down a bit, we switched over to trolling for walleye. Did very well and learned a lot. Captain was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us all safe. Will definitely go again!

Six People Fantastic Time
4 Hour Trip on July 30, 2024
We had a spectacular time with Paul on his Pontoon boat. Altogether there was six of us. This was a trip that could be enjoyable for adults and/or kids at all experience levels. Our trip consisted of two adults and four kids aged 10-14. Paul was personable and great with giving tips, baiting the lines, betting the fish, and he was quite a knowledgeable captain. Multiple photos and videos were also a surprise part of the deal. It was such a relaxing time on the lake that catching 45 fish was just a bonus. I highly recommend using Paul and plan on spending time with him on the lake again in the future.

Captain Paul is the best! Our family had a great time fishing with Paul and caught well over 15 catfish, three of which qualify for Ohio fishing records.
