Ranging from skinny water flats fishing to offshore trolling and reef fishing, Captain Michael Ikemeier would feel blessed to share the experience of this beautiful state with you, so join him in St. Petersburg and have a great day fishing!
The boat you’ll be using is a 23’ Scout bay boat that can sit up to 4 anglers and that uses a 225 HP Yamaha engine. It’s got snorkeling gear, a livewell, uses modern navigation technology, and features a wireless trolling motor and an ice-box.
Not many charters offer you the range of fishing spots as Captain Michael does. From rivers and lakes to inshore and offshore waters to reefs, wrecks, flats, as well as the backcountry, you’ll have a wide choice of spots you can visit. The species offer is also big. You can catch Redfish, Snook, Kingfish, Mangrove Snapper, Hogfish, Tarpon, and many more. Using light and heavy tackle, you can try your hand at bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, as well as fly fishing. The fish you catch is yours to take home and you’re free to bring your kids on the trip.
From the complete fishing gear to drinks and fishing licenses, Captain Michael takes care of it all and he will even clean and fillet your catch for free. Yours is just to show up on time.

Awesome Day With Captain Mike!
Just finished an awesome 2 hour evening trip with Captain Mike and it exceeded expectations! Great communication leading up to the trip with Mike asking what we wanted to get out of the trip. He set realistic expectations with recent storms making it tougher to catch fish, but we ended up with around 5 Snook and 1 HUGE redfish, along with many other catches that came off the hook before we could net them. Mike was an excellent guide and very friendly and knowledgeable, and my son and I can’t wait to go again! I highly recommend this charter!

Captain Mike is Awesome!!
Our family of 3 bass fish in Kentucky, and we had the best time fishing with Mike as our guide throughout our 6 hour in shore/bay excursion. He was friendly and patient with our 8 year old son, and great about showing us different techniques to use for the different species. We were able to catch MULTIPLE different types. We will not hesitate to book with Capin Mike again!!

Capt Mike was awesome! From the moment we stepped on the boat it was like fishing with a buddy you’ve known for years. His local knowledge of wear to fish had us pulling up fish all afternoon. We hit trout, ladyfish, redfish and snook. He even had a spot for a quick dip to cool off! Definitely a memorable trip for the family. I would highly recommend booking with Capt Mike.
