Chris Stowe Striper Guide Service welcomes you to Kingston, Oklahoma. Captain Chris Stowe comes from an angling family and has been fishing the local waters since he was a boy. He would love to take you out for a day of striper fishing on Lake Texoma and show you why you’ll never want to fish with anyone else. Join him and have a memorable fishing time in Kingston!
Your trip will start on a 27’ Bay Hawk center console, a comfortable and spacious boat that can sit up to 8 anglers. It runs on a 300 HP Mercruiser 377 engine, has got modern GPS and fishfinder electronics that allow smooth navigation, and is equipped with downriggers and a livewell.
You and the captain will be using a number of techniques to attract Striped Bass. Using both light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, troll, jig, as well as drift fish in order to catch your prey. You get to keep all the fish you catch.
Captain Chris will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, as well as lures. In addition, he will clean, fillet, and bag your catch free of charge so you can easily take it home. What you will need to bring on your trip are Lake Taxoma fishing licenses and your favorite snacks and drinks.

Slow Day But Incredible Vibes
Day Trip – Striper Fish Fun (AM) on August 2, 2025 • 6 adults
We booked a fishing tour with Chris Stowe on a Saturday in August, and he scheduled our trip early so we’d be one of the first boats on the lake. From the start, Chris was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and determined to get us on the fish. His deep connection to the lake and passion for the sport were clear.
Although we didn’t choose the most ideal date, Chris gave it his all—quickly getting lines in the water and constantly adjusting to keep us on track. Despite heavy boat traffic and what Chris called one of his slowest days, our group of six (ranging in age and skill) still had a successful trip. We caught enough to feed eight people with plenty of leftovers!
All in all, it was a fantastic day—great company, beautiful scenery, and a guide who truly went above and beyond. Even on a slow day, there’s nothing better than time on the water with family and a new friend.

Chris knows his business and we went out Sunday morning and limited out in less than 3 hours. thank you captain Chris for everything. very enjoyable trip

Morning half-day trip with Chris Stowe
Day Trip – Striper Fish Fun (AM) on June 25, 2023 • 3 adults
Chris is pleasant and experienced. He was prepared for the trip, and he was ready to pull away from the dock as soon as we showed up at 0600. His boat is comfortable and spacious. His tackle is in good shape. We went during a hot spell in late June, and the stripers were a little uncooperative. Still, Chris worked hard to hunt fish down and put us on fish, and we ended up doing pretty well (kept 14 fish between two fishermen). Chris has a good relationship with several other guides on the lake, and he was able to communicate with them by radio and phone to help determine places to try where fish had been present. All in all a very good trip. Relaxing and fun. I would definitely recommend Chris Stowe for your fishing outing.

Winter Striper/ Catfish Combo on February 3, 2024 • 3 adults
We were on the water a hour longer than we were suppose to because the striper weren't biting like normal. Bubba and Chris took us to 4 different holes and after awhile we finally got striper in the boat. But even with this the jug they set landed us 24 catfish added on to the striper. These guys are great company and very knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again.
