Atlas Outfitting will take you on an unforgettable river fishing trip out of Bozeman, MT. This charter capitalizes on being mobile. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join. Rest assured, you'll leave the boat knowing much more about fishing than when the trip started. You'll be fishing with the captain that prioritizes your experience and makes sure you enjoy your day to the fullest.
Your guide will choose a fishing spot depending on the season and fishing opportunities. Being familiar with fish movement and their behavior, he'll find the spot with the hottest bite. The capacity is limited to 2 guests only, so you can have his maximum attention.
The main approach on each trip is fly fishing. This is arguably the best technique for river fishing and the reason many anglers don't even think about saltwater fishing. You need more patience and precision than with other techniques and it's so rewarding when you manage to land your catch. Some of the species you'll go after are Steelhead, Brown Trout, and Cutthroat Trout.
All fish need to be released, so snap a few photos as a memory of this moment. The captain covers your fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks, so you only need to prepare your fishing license in advance.

We had an outstanding experience with Atlas Outfitting from start to finish. Booking and getting everything set up was incredibly easy, and the communication leading up to the trip was excellent. The fishing conditions were tough, but our guide worked incredibly hard to put us on fish and made the most of a challenging day. He was knowledgeable, patient, and determined to make sure we had a great experience. His effort absolutely paid off, especially with my wife catching some fantastic fish! Even when the fishing wasn't easy, the trip itself was a blast. That's a testament to having a great guide who knows what he's doing and doesn't give up when conditions aren't perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Atlas Outfitting to anyone looking for a great fishing trip. We will definitely be back!
I’ve been on quite a few fishing trips in Wyoming, Montana, Hawaii and Florida Keys, rarely if ever have I enjoyed a fudhing trip as much. Traci was a thorough professional, i’d recommmend him an Atlas without hesitation!
We caught brown trout and white fish on the Maddison River. it was a great time with great guides. the guides were very knowledgeable, very helpful especially since we were first time fly fishers, bit most importantly very friendly. I would highly reccomend using the for your next fishing trip.
