Fishtales Outfitting offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.

Come on aboard with Capt. Michael, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use the fly fishing technique, due to the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Cutthroat Trout, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.

All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.

Fishtales Outfitting offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water.

The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch, but you're welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.

Under no circumstances will we put more than 2 people in a boat.

Please tip your guide directly. A 20% gratuity is considered proper.

Great trip with Dave. Even there were challenging conditions in the river, heavy wind and fish were not very active, we were able to find good catches with dry fly. Beatiful river and nice fishing. Dave is very talent with the boat, fishing gears and know good spots. HIgly recommended.

Met my guide. Got the basics and headed out for the day. Beautiful day and fantastic guide. Floated the Yellowstone river. Learned valuable fishing techniques and skills. Caught plenty of fish and of course let the big one get away. Best birthday gift ever! Thanks mom and dad!
