You’ll be fishing on a fully-rigged 27’ 2010 Albemarle offshore fishing boat. The boat has the hull to make the big waters of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie safe and comfortable. It also has a full hardtop, comfortable seating, plenty of room to reel in your fish, and features a bathroom in the cabin for your convenience and family accommodation. The boat runs on a 375 HP Mercruiser engine, uses modern navigation technology, and fits up to 4 guests. It’s equipped with a livewell, outriggers, and downriggers.
You’ll be trolling for Salmon and Trout on Lake Ontario in May, or Walleye on Lake Erie from June through September. You may also catch Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Lake Trout, or Steelhead along the way. Lake Ontario and Lake Erie are world-class freshwater fisheries.
Morning trips normally start at 7:30 a.m. Schedules are flexible upon customer requests. Evening trips are welcome and are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis. As the weather is a big factor on the Great Lakes, the captain and the customer both have the right to reschedule the trip per weather conditions. Kids are welcome aboard.
For your trip, you should bring a New York State fishing license, adequate clothing, rain gear, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Motion sickness medicine is recommended if you’re not a proven seaman.
