Scary Good Sportfishing 

Had an absolutely fantastic day on the water! We caught enough fish we had the luxury of being picky rather than just keeping legal-size fish. We were able to keep some REALLY nice-sized walleye and hit our limit of quality fish well before our trip time was up. We even added two large lake trout as a bonus to an already incredible day. Captain and cew were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The boat, on board amenities, and equipment were top-notch! Great fishing, great memories, and a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day on the water! 🎣

This was hands-down one of the highlights of our family’s vacation. We booked this trip with our two kids (8 and 12), and Captain Rob was absolutely fantastic with the kids. He made them feel comfortable and heard from the very beginning, patiently explaining everything, answering endless questions! The highlight was our 12-year-old hook 3 beautiful walleye. The captain coached him through every step of the fight, letting him do the work himself while offering just the right amount of guidance. Watching my son reel it in, seeing the fish hit the net, learning how to safely hold it, and then proudly posing with his catch was priceless. My dad was there too, so it became one of those rare three-generation memories that our family will never forget. Even the rougher parts of the trip became part of the adventure! The kids were laughing as the boat bounced over the waves, and the captain made sure everyone stayed comfortable and safe while still making it exciting. One of the unexpected highlights came at the end of the trip. The captain gave us pieces of crackers to feed the seagulls, and suddenly dozens of birds were swooping all around the boat. The kids absolutely loved it. It turned into this magical little wildlife experience that none of us expected. After docking, we wandered the marina, watched turtles swimming below the docks, and then grabbed drinks and a snack at Bart’s Cove to celebrate the day’s catch. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible outing!

We had an unforgettable morning fishing on Lake Erie with Captain Rob. Our trip was scheduled to start at 6 a.m., but with thunderstorms in the forecast, Captain Rob wisely suggested waiting to see how the weather developed and whether any lightning was reported. We finally headed out around 7 a.m. under cloudy skies and into some of the biggest waves I have ever seen on a lake! Despite the challenging conditions, our family of four had an amazing catch — six beautiful walleyes each! Captain Rob was experienced, patient, extremely well prepared, and provided everything we needed. I have fished before and, under normal conditions, would have been fine without much help. But with those waves, Captain Rob’s experience and constant support made all the difference. Thanks to him, what could have been a very difficult day turned into an unforgettable family experience. At the end of the trip, he filleted all our fish and carefully packed everything in zip bags for us to take home. Captain Rob is a well seasoned charter Captain with many different techniques for getting the fish in the boat and never stops working to make sure it happens. The 28 foot boat is extremely accommodating with plenty of room for your group. We limited out on walleye while landing some beautiful lake trout also. Excellent fishing trip! Captain Rob was great with our group, including our 11-year-old grandson. He was very helpful and taught us a lot about walleye and walleye fishing! He made sure we got our limit and we all went home smiling with a lot of fish! This was a trip we'll be talking about for many years to come! Captain Rob made our first ever walleye trip great! We were a group of five and we caught our limit before our time even ended. He was very prepared from watching weather to readying the gear. The trip was very family friendly by way of clean language, a good attitude and a fun loving mood. We went home with a great quantity of meat that Rob cleaned and filleted. Definitely going again!

Captain Rob is amazing! Despite being early in the season, his hard work kept us on the fish throughout the day. We caught some quality, chunky walleye and Captain Rob sent us home with perfectly trimmed fillets. His boat is set up beautifully for fishing with excellent gear and electronics. We spent the morning with Captain Rob, caught the limit of walleye as well as a 18.5 lb Lake Trout. It far exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to do it again !!!

We caught our full limit of walleye. The captain and crew were experienced, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Made for a great and memorable experience for my wfe, children, and grandchildren.
