Chromeseekers invites you and your family to spend a day in Beulah, Michigan and have a lovely time together fishing Crystal Lake. If you’re a parent who just wants to get your kids out fishing but doesn't want to spend a lot of money, this is your opportunity. The techniques you’ll be using are as simple as possible to make for an enjoyable fishing experience for the kiddos and anyone else. Let Captain Dan Stewart do the work so you can enjoy the time with your kids! 1 adult per 2 children is recomemded. Parents must be on trip.
The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 24' Hewescraft fishing boat that can sit up to 6 anglers. It runs on a 250 engine and its GPS, fishfinder, as well as radio electronics allow for safe movement on the water and will keep you on the right course all the time. The boat uses a wireless trolling motor for easier fishing and has got a livewell.
The species you can encounter during your trip are Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, And perch. Using light tackle, you can chase them by drift fishing. You can choose whether you’ll keep your catch or simply release it back into the water. As said, kids are more than welcome to join aboard.
Captain Dan will supply you with all the tackle, live bait, and lures. For an additional fee of $2 per fish, he can clean and fillet your catch. Before you leave, just make sure to have fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks.

Captain Dan helped our whole family have a great morning out on the water putting us on fish all morning. Everyone on the boat had a positive experience and we will book again.

We had the best time fishing with Captain Dan. Our boys love to fish, but as a family we are not very experienced. The 'worm sink' on Crystal Lake was perfect for us. We caught tons of fish (several big enough to keep). Our youngest son (9) is on the autism spectrum, and Dan did an amazing job relating to him. When we return to Crystal Lake, we plan on booking another charter with Chromeseekers.
Dan did an excellent job communicating before the trip. He took myself and my three boys (ages 7,9, and 11) on Crystal Lake for a four hour morning trip. He was patient and kind with the kids and kept them on the fish all day! We must have caught over 100 rock bass, often two at a time! I can’t recommend this trip enough for amateur fishers! Dan also cleaned the fish at the end for an extra fee. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

In Mid April I move to the Detroit River for walleye. In May I move to the St Clair river for walleye. When Lake St Clair heats up I move over there. Around Mid June I end the walleye fishing and move back to the Nw chasing a variety of fish. We fish crystal lake and all other inland lakes near by. We are also fishing Lake Michigan for Salmon and Trout. We follow the salmon up river then back to steelhe
