Triple T Charters and Captain Tim Rudder welcome you to Morehead City, North Carolina. Come visit them and spend a memorable time on the water while you chase lots of different species and enjoy the beautiful nature. Captain Tim has been fishing the local waters all his life and will know how to make your trip the best it can be. Join him and have a fun and pleasant fishing experience out of Morehead City. Tim the Troutman welcomes you aboard!
You will fish from a 20’ Kencraft skiff boat that can accommodate up to 4 anglers. Its 115 HP Yamaha engine along with the modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology allow you a safe and quick reach to the fish. You will have access to an ice-box to store your drinks and fish and there will also be a livewell to supply you with live bait.
There is a wide range of fish you can target on your trip. To mention just some of the species, there are Albacore Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Whiting, Bonito, Sheepshead, and more. To catch them, you can use bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and drift fishing, all on light tackle. You can either keep or release the fish you catch and you are free to bring kids on your trip.
Captain Tim provides you with the rods, reels, as well as lures, meaning you should only bring your fishing licenses as well as the food and drinks of your choice.

Half day.
We just had the perfect day!!
What a day!! Captain Tim is the real deal and I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience. I booked this charter along with our son and our daughter. Tim knew exactly where to go and he put us on fish. We didn't just go fishing, we went went catching!! At a point, we lost count of how many fish were brought in to the boat. We limited out on some nice sea trout, caught loads of big flounder (that we put back, thanks NC), blues, grouper, black sea bass, Spanish mackerel and more. He has a great boat that is well equipped. The GPS trolling motor is very cool. I highly recommend Tim "The Trout Man" and look forward to going back out with him again!

Caught a load of fish!
Had a great time with Captain Tim! His equipment was top notch and he put us on the fish for the entire trip! We limited out on Trout, and caught a ton of Blues. We also caught a few Spanish Mackerels, little grouper, and sea bass. We did not spend much time riding around! Captain Tim was very knowledgeable, and happy to share information! I would definitely recommend Triple T Charters to anyone who wants to catch fish!

Lifetime Flounder
Tim was a fantastic captain. He was the nicest and most helpful captain I’ve ever met. He kept the hooks on the rods, the bait on the hooks, and the fish on the bait. Caught several doormat flounder with one over 30” and about 12 pounds. Will highly recommend Tim anytime someone is in the area around the Crystal Coast!

Amazing Family Fishing Trip
We had an awesome time fishing during our family vacation! Captain Tim was friendly and knew all the right spots—we caught red drum, trout, and flounder. The kids had a blast, and everything was well-organized and easy. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable outing!

Great day on the water
Been fishing with many guides over the years. Would highly recommend Tim. We had a tough windy day and Tim worked the entire day to find the fish. We didn’t fill the boat up but we had a good day given the weather. Will definitely book another trip in the near future.
