Years ago, he learned all the hot spots and discovered a sense of joy and tranquility in sharing his experiences with others. There is nothing grander than seeing the excitement in others’ faces, that almost kid-like joy in that first catch of the day. There’s room for everyone on his boat, regardless of your fishing experience.
You’ll be fishing on a 25’ skiff boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. She’s powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine and reaches the speed of 34 knots. Besides navigational electronics, the boat also features a cooler, tuna tubes, downriggers, a live bait tank, and spearfishing equipment.
The catch depends on the fishing grounds you prefer and the technique you choose. Amberjack and Barracuda are sure to bring a fight to the boat! The bigger the Barracuda, the bigger the fight. You can also go after Red Snapper, Yellowtail, Mutton Snapper, and Mangrove Snapper.
Getting ready is very easy - you just need to pack your sun protection. The captain will take care of your fishing licenses, equipment, snacks, and drinks. After the trip, he’ll even clean and fillet your catch, so you can take it straight to the frying pan.

Full Day Trip – Fishing/BBQ
Great Trip!
Communication before and during the trip was excellent. It was a windy day so the captain was sure to let us know of the impacts of that right away, as well as make sure we didn't get sea sick before choosing a fishing spot. We caught a good amount and variety of fish including Snapper and Mackerel for lunch. The captain was insistent on finding lobster for lunch and after relentless searching, brought one to the boat. At the beach where several other boats were using the community fire pit, we found out that we were the only boat there that had lobster. We snorkeled a bit but since the wind made it difficult, the guide spent the extra time giving us a tour of the area while looking for crocodiles and other sea life. I would recommend this company and this tour to anyone!

Mundo is the best captain!
We booked the 8 hour charter with lunch. We were picked up on the dock in front of our resort. Captain was early and ready to go. We had a calm day and went out past the reef and caught multiple snapper. Then we stopped at a few spots to try our luck at getting lobster. Even though the season was getting late, Mundo was so patient and made sure my husband and I really got a chance to get some for lunch. Next stop conch diving. Lunch on the beach, then a quick stop at a shark area to swim and check out three species of sharks and rays and skates. What a day. Definitely the highlight of our trip. I think the real reason our day was so successful was the skill and patience of our captain. Book a fishing charter!

Munro and Junior were excellent guides, very patient with us, and made the trip very enjoyable. We caught a good mix of fish and they made sure we had plenty of opportunities. I'd highly recommend using Belize Candace Fish & Reef Tours.

Mundo was an excellent Captain! We liked our full day trip so much we decided to book a second day. He was excellent for my beginner status as well as my husband far more advanced abilities as an angler. He accommodated my motion sickness, showed the various ecosystems through the island. Live bait ready, easy going, had a stocked cooler-just was a fantastic time. Cheers Mundo!

We fished the outer reef and open water and landed 30 fish including a travally, black fin tuna, 2 skip jack and a barracuda... The rest were nice size snappers. Couldn't have expected a better trip... Thank you so much!
