Blue Line Guide Service operates out of Rockport, Texas and the Baffin Bay and invites you to join in for a pleasant and fun fishing trip. Captain Tom Sowell will take you to the rich inshore waters and flats around Rockport and make sure you have a great time chasing fish. Pick a day and have a memorable fishing experience together with Blue Line Guide Service!
Your adventure will begin on a 21' Shoalwater flats boat powered by a 250 HP Evinrude engine and equipped with modern GPS and fishfinder technology. The boat's got a wireless trolling motor, 2 ice-boxes for storing your fish, and a livewell. It holds space for up to 4 anglers.
You and Captain Tom will be spinning and drift fishing on light tackle in order to catch Speckled Trout and Redfish. You can choose whether you'll keep your catch and take it home or simply release it back into the water. Children are more than welcome to join aboard. Also, remember that smoking isn't allowed during the trip.
Captain Tom will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, as well as water, and he can clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Keep in mind live bait is not included. Before you depart, you should just bring your licenses and some food.

Had a great day on the water. Caught a nice 27.5” Redfish and had a nice relaxing Fathers day on the water catching. Conditions were tough, but we prevailed and came home with fish. Others were not so lucky.
Captain Tom was a great guide. He communicated well by calling us at the time of booking to confirm the trip, as well as the day prior to check in. He covered the rules and safety equipment with us just before departure, and we were off. I explained to him that I had never fished the Rockport area in my personal boat, so he proceeded to show me many areas where I should and should not go when I bring my own. He put us on the fish and cleaned everything for us afterwards. Great job Tom!
Captain Tom accommodated us to find another boat for our group of seven. Captain Tom listen to us what and how we wanted to fish, especially when we had a couple novice fishermen. He listens to his customers! I know some Captains make it about them. We all had a great time catching fish. His service and his crew service was excellent caring to our needs. The equipment was also top notch. Thx.
Great day with my 2 daughters and myself. We have been with several guides over 20+ years of fishing and Tom truly ranks among the top 5 in customer service which is what it is all about. Fishing is the fun part, but I have been with guides that almost make it feel like a job opposed to going out and having a good time on the water. He did a great job of moving us around to try to get on the fish. Tough bite today, but if you fish long enough, you understand those days as well. The main thing is that Tom remained a very courteous guide and we enjoyed talking about life in general with him as well. Remember this when you fish, sometimes it can be a long half or full day, but it is great when you can just related well with your guide. Understand Tom will be checking out guiding in Nueces Bay, we will definitely be looking forward to experiencing that with him next summer. Thanks for a great trip for my and my girls.

From then on, Captain Tom has been hooked on saltwater fishing. Fishing is a passion of his and he's always willing to help and teach others so they can enjoy this great sport. He's also a firm supporter of taking kids fishing as he believes there's no better bond than out on the water with your children.
