F/V Emme Fisheries welcomes you to Newburyport, Massachusetts. You’ll be fishing from a restored 38’ Northern Bay downeast boat, big enough to comfortably accommodate 6 anglers. Powered by a 670 HP Cummins engine and rigged with full-featured navigation technology, you’ll reach the fish safely and in no time. The onboard facilities include a toilet, shower, and bed, while the amenities at your disposal are air conditioning, a TV, a multimedia system, a refrigerator, and an ice box. The fishing gear includes outriggers and a livewell, and you’ll also have the services of a first mate.
The prized species you can go after are Haddock, Cod, Pollock, Bluefin Tuna, Atlantic Mackerel, Flounder, and Striped Bass. There’s a wide range of techniques you can utilize to catch fish. You can bottom fish, deep-sea fish, drift fish, and kite fish, as well as troll, spin, and jig. The tackle you can use is both light and heavy. You’re free to bring any kids on your trip, as well as keep all the fish you catch if you wish to.
Your captain will supply you with all the fishing gear, licenses, and water. At your request, he’ll also clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Before you leave, just make sure you have some food and drinks packed.

We did this part of a bachelor party. It was a little choppy out there and they still got us on the fish and had a great time in the process.

This experience with Captain Rick and First Mate Rick was absolutely fantastic! The trip was much more than fishing, it was the complete ocean experience. We started off by casting out our own lines to catch some bait fish in preparation for the angler extravaganza; catching a monster striped bass. As the bait fish storage tank filled up, we headed to find some stripers where we were greeted by a wonderful whale watching experience. The crew was kind enough to let us stop and enjoy the beautiful views of a playful juvenile humpback whale. As the whale moved on we turned back to the original mission of hooking a monster bass. The crew brought us to a fantastic location where every single member of the party caught at least 2 striped bass to complete the experience. Beyond the fishing, the crew was light hearted, attentive, and ensured both experienced anglers and beginners had a fantastic time. We will certainly be booking with FV Emme Charters again!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
